They refused a simple contract for killing an interbus customs office in lowsec, because they feared they were going to be hotdropped. I even offered to set up a POS for them.

I would only recommend these guys if your corp is bored, then you can wardec them and use them for target practice.

What a bunch of wussies.

You certainly chose well Jazz to be fair to you. After all, why would you try to kill us on your own?

Confirming, reluctantly, these guys are really rather good, and far better than the utterly USELESS merc corp we counter hire, the "Double Tap Alliance". More like the Double Coward but well take your isk anyway alliance!

Good job on the pos tonight guys. Now can you leave us alone? :)

Well, if you are really interested: no, I'm not mad. I'm just a bit disappointed.
Because:
A) you pretend you are not afraid of anybody or anything
B) you guys looked mildly, maybe, semi interested, since it was in a very, very simple job
C) suddenly you turned a 180 degrees, accused me of plotting a hotdrop, and left me hanging

Now, the timeframe (somewhere between now and a month or so) would have excluded any hotdrops. So that argument was void. And if you are not interested, just say so. Or, do it as a businessman: name a price that I won't accept (dunno, say 50 billion ISK).

It's just that our last conversation ended with your remarks that you were afraid of a hotdrop, while that risk was 0.

If you are not interested, just say so. Don't accuse me of being dangerous while in fact it was a simple job.

That's all.

When we showed up at the pos the ghost division guys ran away and swapped corps and thus were no longer red to us, leaving us unable to do anything to them while they sat there and shot your pos. Perhaps you should have paid us to dec both corps.

While I am not a fan of the tactic that was used; the fact of the matter is that we did what we need to do to complete our goal. And I have to agree with Griznatch here, they did what they were paid to do. Once that threat was no longer around there really isn't much they can do.

GM Homonoia: In other words; feel free to use the tactic, but don't be an utter and total ***.

CCP Tallest_: _And by "we have made it so", I mean Punkturis has made it so.

I think the moral of the story here, kids, is to be in possession of all the facts before calling people names. I was not, and as such made a tit of myself. I hereby humbly apologise to double tap and retract my previous comment.

when some one specifically requests we bring in capital class ships into a system for a pos bash it raises flags. If you really just want a pos taken down fast (which is what i was informed you wanted) simply list your time frame. You wanted capitals we couldn't meet your requirements. if you didn't like the question about a possible hot drop to bad, welcome to eve. As for making an offer fine we want 2 trillion isk 3/4 ths upfront and we will have the pos in question that is in low sec down in 90 days

As for the being afraid? We take calculated risks. If the risk was 0 you could do it your self. If you didn't like our determination or in this case our refusal there are lots of other corps. If you need some suggestions contact me in game.

Jim, fact of the matter is, you don't know what your talking about on this. Double tap was hired to go after ghost....that was it.

Commend ghost for actually coming up with the switching corps idea to continue their objective.

As for double-tap....they did what they were paid and what they could. Shadows had handled that as it was their contact. So for the time that they could do something, double-tap did a great job.

EDIT: On a side note....we have had two wars with ghost. They have gotten better with age. Since this is a thread advertising their services...I'll throw my two cents in on that. Good bunch of people for the most part and they commit to a job.

How much do you guys cost on average for smacking around a corp that has declared war? PM me when convenient.

Confirming that these guys are good. Not only that but they honor 1v1's. I went through 3 rifters over the course of a couple of hours. It's rare to find a merc corp that not only does a heck of a job killing people, but also gives them an opportunity to practise piloting skills. They did pod me on accident, but it was my own damn fault for minimizing my window on accident. :D I did receive a mail apology. Overall these guys are professional and mostly a friendly bunch.

1) I never asked for capitals, i don't care how stuff gets done.
2) It is was regarding an interbus customs office, not a POS (POSses shoot back in case you were wondering about the differences, custom offices don't)
3) the hotdrop possiblility was 0, your danger calculator needs some re-calibration
4) I explicitly said I wasn't in a hurry
5) Killing a customs office alone is impossible
6) you terminated the connection

And about the offer, that's a bit late now, I can't take that seriously.

You see, if you want to act like you are a bunch of mean piwates for hire, and somebody asks you something you are afraid to do, say, kill a spider in the next room, there are certain things you should not say. Never say: I'm afraid of spiders, and I am afraid of the dark, and maybe the lights suddenly go out in that room while I am shooting the spider with my bazooka-flamethrower combo, so my answer is nooooooooo while running towards your anti-spider bunker. To keep your cool image, say something like 'I'm not interrested', or 'I would, but my sock drawer urgently need a re-ordering', or, as a merc you say 'No thanks, I'm not interested', or 'Sure, that will be 100 billion'.

Never get caught saying that a job is to big or to dangerous when you're talking about shooting a interbus customs office for crying out loud, it makes you look like wussies.

3) the hotdrop possiblility was 0, your danger calculator needs some re-calibration (I divided the danger factor by 0 in case you wondered how I got this)
4) I explicitly said I wasn't in a hurry (my carriers are afk cloaked anyway)
5) Killing a customs office alone is impossible (god, I wish I weren't lonely)
6) you terminated the connection (I wanted to quit before you could fire me)

Never get caught with asian midget hookers. It's hard to wiggle out of that one.

Seem fairly legitimate. I'm not sure exactly how they lost ships to Celestial Order Rising Pheonix though.

Also people complaining about double tap.? What?

No one here complaining about double tap. What was interpreted as a complaint was a terrible attempt at trolling me thinks.
