Better hurry, null sec stagnation is reaching critical levels before a mass exodus of players. Low sec and faction warfare is dieing a slow painful death from being ignored by CCP. High sec, well really can't say much about that LOL besides a link to a carebears episode. Cool stuff means nothing when half your player base disappears in the next couple of months too.

I've only been subbing to the game for two months and my sub already hinges heavily on whether or not there is delivery on promises during this winter update.

As a new player, I've just found out about the direction of EVE development (or lack thereof) and all the recent scandals... who wants to board a sinking ship? I love EVE, but if CCP doesn't step up, I'm stepping out.

Look what CCP do, not what CCP say.

I don't see anything changing. You guys have always talked big, but your actions have always screamed otherwise.

Take Incarna. Something like four years in development, and what did we get? One room that nobody else can see, a monocle that costs $70, and you're on track with history by providing only a Minmitar room and nothing else. Remember the 5th T3 subsystem? Anybody? Same thing.

Gallente ships/hybrids should have been balanced a year ago, supers should have been balanced 9 months ago, yet here we are with vague statements that they might be looked at after Christmas (history tells us that it won't happen).

CCP needs to make some visible and meaningful changes to the game, not just fluffy dev blogs about things that might happen in 5 years (I reference the 0.0 blog that won't ever go anywhere anyway). A good start would be incremental balance changes to hybrids/Gallente and supers. Make small changes every two weeks until things are acceptably balanced, and start next week.

Anyway, I don't really care, I cancelled my subscription shortly after Incarna failed with all the associated crap from CCP. It runs out sometime in October and I don't see myself re-upping because I don't believe CCP can change their ways.

Introducing new "features" that were uncalled for instead of fixing what makes EvE, EvE.

The last expansion that brought anything worthwhile to the table was Apocrypha. Its been downhill since.

Not the same game company I used to enjoy and willingly pay for a great game.

How about, since you're the OP, start us off with some content to begin with? You're not giving me much to reply to here..

Two of the major parts brought up lately by players have been: iteration (how CCP doesn't work on present content, just keeps adding new content that is half-done and then ignored), and the other how there's very little focus on actual spaceships.

CCP havn't given us any reasonable replies, or showed any positives regarding future development, in either case.

What CCP have done is selling out this games core concept, the spaceship and PvP elements, to just get new players. And that CCP isn't afraid to use tools like CSM to lure players into shutting up/not rage on forums, while it serves CCP to completely dodge annoying questions - same time as CSM really doesn't do jack ****. This isn't made up or subjective opinions, this is the reality of the game and CCP right now. Meanwhile we have no assurances whatsoever regarding high-profile player requests (iteration being very high on the list, look at last CSM election and how that was a main subject for discussion, and how it still is, on forums). CCPs lies, and willingness to show they don't care about present playerbase, and lack of presentation of how the future for this game is for the present playerbase.. all of this is evidence enough that you are wrong.

So I guess it's in place to simply call you out for your bullshit and ask for content instead, as it would be quite nice to actually see you being right, and me wrong. But right now your thread is just contentless crap, and the CCP replies populistic trolling.
