I have to agree with everyone else tho, their fits is much better than yours. When you run guristas missions simply fit one ECCM upgrade with the Dissolution Sequencer subsystem and you wont be jammed much at all.

Also why i passive tank is personal preference, near the absolute maximum dps you can push out of the tengu. But with an insurance of that noone will gank you, the amount of shooters they would need wouldnt be worth it. Im not afraid of missions, i wont loose any ship to rats, however other players are unpredictable. papertanked tengus are pretty popular to gank.

That's pretty much the "standard" tengu fit for missions. Change the hardeners depending on the mission and pimp it where you want to. With hardwires you should be able to get ~700 DPS

You get scrammed and webbed in that and you're dead in seconds.

[sarcasm] Well I must be a damn good pilot as I have run every L4 mission in it dozens of times and never came close to dying. Roll Not to mention with this setup you get a 700DPS tank Roll This is the only reason I haven't spent 1bil ISK on an A-type repper to give this fit a 800+DPS tank. Plus if you get webbed and scrammed you are doing something wrong. Any tengu pilot knows the primary targets of new spawns are always web/scram frigates.

Nothing it's just that my setup works just fine with a cheap repper and I would much rather spend 1 bil ISK on 2 PLEX and have another 2 months of gametime than buy a repper to overtank my tengu.

For a L4 Tengu the dual small rep Tengus are fine. If you manage to lose one to NPCs I have no idea what you did because most Tengu fits don't even need speed as their tank even though they have it. For highsec honestly I would buffer my Tengu since a buffer Tengu can still do all L4s with max DPS and be immune to ganks. If you're in 0.0 you don't have to worry about ganks unless you are a silly turtle so you might as well set up your Tengu to solo complexes and earn those billion ISK rewards. :3 Plus its fun to show off.

:3 as usual the standard 790 DPS Tengu (with the two 5% implants) But you also get a 1200DPS tank (at least I do against Sansha) if you have a crystal set. So you can just zoom through all the complexes bellow 10/10 if you want to. Even webbed down to 20m/s you can still do them. If you are nervous you can always add on a DCU. Guaranteed to make your money back as long as you have the time to have fun!
