Wreck salvaging and containers

Hi

Sorry if there is an answer to this but i cant find it anywhere.

It used to be that when you salvaged a wreck with containers inside, the wreck stayed there after salvage and the containers where inside, now when i salvage a wreck the whole thing vanishes along with any containers/courier contracts that might be in there.

Has this been changed intenionally in a patch or broken?

Actually, when I salvage a wreck and forget to take the loot, it drops into a container.
