Probe scanning broken?

So I can't seem to get anything pinned down via probe scanning. I usually deploy 5 probes in a cross pattern with one in the center. Before Crucible I was a champ at scanning things down. Not this character but on my main she has all scanning skills to 4 plus Tengu skills to 5 and sister probes and sister probe launcher.

I should be able to scan down pretty much anything, but I can't. I've double checked overview settings and my filter settings are spot on, but I can't bring the percentage of sites up above 20%.

When I reposition my probes even slightly closer to the red dot, it vanishes and I lose signal. Sometimes after getting a red dot on the system map, I'll move my probes away from it and the signal percentage would actually rise. Even with 3 probes or less.

What's going on here?
Personal observations suggest the client is placing the red dot in the wrong area on the solar system map and is incorrectly registering the real location somewhere else.

Help please.

Found a workaround after searching previous threads and trial/error.

Another thread suggested that I delete the filter and remake it. That didn't work so I had to use the repair tool. Retried again and didn't work so I re deleted the filter and remade it.

NOW it's working. It took a repair tool usage first and then a delete and recreate the filter tool.
