GICODEL - A Sebiestor female was taken into custody earlier over an assassination attempt on the Sisters of Eve station in Gicodel. Local socialite Heesehr Kamathah held a dinner function earlier today to celebrate her 27th birthday when the assassin struck with a small bladed instrument. Party guests described the attack as "a quick blow to the chest, and she just went down".

"I didn't even see the actual attack, it all happened so fast." an anonymous party guest claimed. "I was watching her give a speech thanking us all for attending, and the next thing I know she collapses and a homely-looking woman stands over her, with the most terrifying grin I've ever seen."

"Why wasn't there a decent enough security force present?" the guest continued. "Surely with the right amount of security present, a tragedy like this could have been prevented."


The assassin, who's name has not been disclosed yet, is said to have ties to the Guardian Angels of the Angel Cartel pirate organization. As for Kamathah, she has been reported as in stable condition, and expected to make a full recovery. The Sisters of Eve offered their condolences to Ms. Kamathah, and hope for a speedy recovery for her.

Kamathah hails from a wealthy family that resides in the western span of Amarrian space. She recently came to the attention of Federation media after her performance in the holoreel release of "It Came From Cobalt Edge", a critically panned rogue drone thriller.
