I think I've seen this raised in the past, but how about permitting players to reactivate their accounts and buy the skill points that they've missed out on while away at full rate?

I've had a break and have been away from the game for circa 3 months. I've now resubscribed, but the thought of the 3 months worth of skill points I've lost is a bit disheartening.

If I could pay the full amount for 3 months and get those skill points back I'd probably do it. Perhaps limit the buyback scheme to 6 months? If people are buying them back at full rate, it is like they've just been subscribed all along.

Are there any disadvantages to either CCP or the community I've not thought of? Fair enough if so.
