Changes to dropping corp mechanics?

Someone told me that if you drop corp since Crucible you are still "at war" with members of the enemy corporation for 24 hours (previously dropping corp used to take you straight out of the war). Is this correct?

Since his question is poorly written, there may be some confusion.

If a corp drops out of an aliance that is at war, the corp is still at war for 24 hours. This has been like this as long as I've been playing.

If someone leaves a corp that is at war, they are no longer a war target. I checked the patch notes and did not see that this has changed and I've also done this a few times. I personally would not be apposed to this taking 24 hours as people abuse this.
