Hello,

A little about myself and my Campaign
Some of you may remember me from Ships Of Eve - New Eden's largest single nonprofit event corporation, others will remember me for giving up a free trip to Iceland and all my Eve characters and possessions in protest over microtransactions back in 2010 (although your version of these events may be slightly different). The re-occurring themes here apart from drama and spam is that I've dedicated almost my whole 6 year eve career to other players, usually in regards to giving them something entertaining to do and awarding them ridiculous amounts of free loots but also an active interest in other people's game and how they play it.

Game Experience
While the majority of my time ingame was spent with events I've had a go at everything, with most success in Industry, the market and piloting Logistics ships. My fortune was made from invention and ship collecting but this soon got boring and I turned to Events and gave all my isk and stuff away instead. Later still when I felt it was time to have an eve family I was welcomed into Macabre Votum, albiet for a short time due to the MT incident. During CSM4 and CSM5 I was the most active alternate (and more active than some full members in CSM4) although it was sometimes hard to wake up at 4am for the meetings.

CSM Goals
- Promote individual, as well as both Alliance and Corp identity through the use of logos and moderated paint based ship customisation using pre-existing CCP designs and race restricted colours, coupled with complete control of options to negate client side lag.
- Destroy apathy by inducing player and developer engagement.
- Improve gameplay and reduce unnessecary repetition with intelligent, responsive interfaces and game processes.
- Support and enable more player made content by creating an Event and Operations menu with supporting mechanics that allows players, corporations and alliances to create, organise, and expose their own public and private events.
- Introduce automatic graphical load balancing keyed off client performance using either player defined or automatic profiles to reduce client side lag.
More items of interest are listed in the post below.

Wheres the rest of my platform?
If elected, throughout my term any player will be able to influence my platform/ agenda by taking part in constructive interactive crowd sourcing surveys via my website, which will enable me to have a more relevant agenda. Any player will be able to raise a topic for CSM discussion via the site and then through me. Ideas and suggestions for this tool are welcome.

TL;DR
See the post below for some of the topics on my agenda, pictures included.
Once I've finished internalising a really complicated situation in my head I'll upload a Video, which is coming soon™

The following is a selection of ideas, topics and issues that are of interest to me and to some of my supporters:
If you'd like to scroll through the images you can do so here instead: www.shipsofeve.com/gallery

Ships

Industry and Science
  • List all Available Labs together in SCI&IND menu (Meissa)
  • Show current jobs / maximum jobs in Science and Manufacturing menus
  • Increase oppurtunities for Miniprofessions and do not exclude players from creation and manufacturing processes

  • Combat
    • X,Y,Z location co-ordinates in Killmails
    • Automatic Notification of all Available Cynos
    • More obvious notifications of when someone else is effecting our ship's abilities

    Social and Events

    Character and Skills
    • Skill Training Time Dilation - Train multiple characters on one account with penalty time multipliers assigned based off how many characters are training at the same time (2 chars doubles training time, 3chars triples training time)
    • Skill queue and training control from within Eve Gate
    • Confirmation dialogue when starting a skill on a pilot if there is another pilot on that account in training that gives you the option to pause training on the actively training one.
    • Automatic Skill pausing and restarting when clone jumping
    • Gender Re-assignment

    Graphics
    • Advanced "Advanced Camera Controls" - Eve is beautiful give us decent tools to view it
    • Eve InStation Screen Saver - After a player set time the client closes all GUIs and then enacts a flyby of all their ships in station (or someone else's hangar if they make it public - ie Entity Museum)
    • Multiple Screen Bevel Compensation and Offset Screen Managment (Compensate for gaps between your screens)
    • Bring back full Antialiasing and Antistropic Filtering Controls
    • Depth of Field and Motion Blur
    • Free all GUI assets from locked or restricted locations
    • Tradable UI themes - Player Created, CCP created for purchase or from LP store and loot drops

    The Market
  • Live Feed Subscriptions (Scrolling bar on your screen with relevant data) for Corp, Alliance, News and Player Services, Notifications and Market Watchlists.
  • Highlight a pilot's market orders so they are visable when looking at the Market window.
  • Store Fronts

The Client
  • Quit to Character Selection Screen
  • Optional IP security check on login
  • Slim Client - Only can be used when characters are docked in a station or outpost - No undocking, no ship spinning - only administration and non flying features like chat, market, skills, science and industry, corp management etc.
  • Detachable Eve Windows
  • Tradable Blocklists with Conflict Management tools
  • Shipcrews and Cellular Eve Link – Train ship crews on your phone, aswell as having limited non space feature control which you can then hire out to other players. Crew gives bonuses to ships aswell as changing game voice notifications.
  • [*]Color blindness options covering all 5 common and the one uncommon types, with optional color intensity controls and heat alternative GFX[/list]

Please refrain from counting your trollscore until after votes have been counted and confirmed.
Your character portait on the other hand scores a 9/10 nice work.

Hello, I'm representing a minority player group that has been unfairly represented in the CSM - those players who never undock and/or play skill training online. My aim as your CSM representative (if you fit this criteria) is to divert votes away from highsec candidates who may actually deserve them and to get the following things ingame:

The boobs are plenty small enough, thank you very much.
Or have you not figured out how to make the clicky-draggy bit work?

I recently created an alt and no you cannot make a small breasted female although you can make them look quite manly.

Agreed, rage-quitting does not solve anything.

I certainly would not consider the op as a serious candidate, but then on the other hand the op's post does not look like a serious attempt at becoming a CSM.

The op is probably still sore and just trolling.

Strongly disagree. Rage-quitting is the true EVE endgame.

:) Rage quitting implies irrational behavior when infact it was quite a considered decision as is my current platform.
edit - I did grossly underestimate the amount of distortion that would ensue nor did I expect anyone to actually read my exit post(s) but most of my supporters that I talked to when making the decision understood why and supported it. While it may have had a negligable effect to the issue I was trying to garner attention to the result was what I wanted .

~considered resignations~ have had a great impact from the csm, such as when:

Well maybe you can get some anti-mittens votes. The guy seems like a bit of a tw4t.

Hay f****ers, vote T'Amber because this is awesome.

In hindsight yes it didn't end out how I thought it would nor did I have any experience as a politician so a neophyte i am; I just had some ideas, solutions and beliefs supported by some people who play eve. The reasoning behind leaving was to garner attention to Micro-transactions and to support the idea that the issue was actually quite serious by proving it with some sort of meaningful sacrifice from myself. While most of the 6,000 or so supports for the various threads I created on this topic came before I left - there were others who took note and supported afterwards who may not have taken part or even cared - fluffing it off as internet paranoia - until afterwards. Whether or not the whole episode had any value to you or anyone else, the end result was that a portion of my Ships Of Eve player base and voter base took note and actively supported the issue rather than just sitting on the fence. There were other people in the CSM at the time who were much more capable to continue in my place so its not like I left any supporters hanging. I'm happy with that.

I am one of those constituents of the playing skill training online. Main questions is: I dont see any Adam in your post as you are claiming to do in the title. Just seems you are adding more eve to EVE. I.E small boobs, pink ships. CCP did add more adam to the game by renaming modules or giving them better names, but would like to hear what you would de before I vote. Thanks.
