I have a simple question about those concord enemy npcs you run into doing missions in npc nullsec.

When you kill them, what happens? To your sec and standings, that is. It seems like killing concord-aligned ships could do bad things to your sec status, even in null, but I can't seem to find anything that touches on this one way or the other.

Your sec status doesn't fall, but you do get some standings changes. IIRC, from when I ran anti-CONCORD missions for angels agents, I'd lose faction (CONCORD assembly?) but not corp (CONCORD or DED). I think the ones I ran were mainly against DED rats, Blockade IVs - seriously tougher than hisec Blockade IVs.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

The faction drop is from killing the stasis web tower in ded blockade. Any large collidable object or structure (this includes sentry turrets) belonging to a faction has a hefty standing hit for destroying it. Ships should be negligible. Should your concord assembly standings drop below -5 you can still travel empire space except for the sanctum constellation in genesis which is concord sovereignty.
