Any tried the new Rokh on Guristas missions yet? How does it compare to the CNR?

Here's what I came up with in EFT.

[Rokh, New Setup 1]
Federation Navy Magnetic Field Stabilizer
Federation Navy Magnetic Field Stabilizer
Federation Navy Magnetic Field Stabilizer
Federation Navy Magnetic Field Stabilizer
Tracking Enhancer II

Cap Recharger II
Ballistic Deflection Field II
Invulnerability Field II
Heat Dissipation Field II
ECCM - Gravimetric II
X-Large Shield Booster II

Large Capacitor Control Circuit I

Large Capacitor Control Circuit I

Does 721 DPS @ 62KM with navy antimatter and 5% turret damage hardwiring. Another TC will push it out to 70km, which is pretty damn good IMOSmile

Has 47 sensor strength.. might be kinda low still. I heard 50+ is the sweet spot for guristas missions.

Cap only lasts 1min 50sec with max skills and two cap hardwirings.. seems kinda meh, especially for harder missions. I usually prefer 3-4min for a ship with low dps like this.

Would I get more out of this ship if I cap boosted it? How should I rig it if I cap boost it? Hybrid weapon rigs?

i like the rokhs style very much!

i would remove the fourth mag stab und perhaps put a power diag in there for more cap, dont know if flux coil would be better
too lazy to put it in eft.

also, from what i remember of guri mishins is that most of the dmg comes from the torps, ive always gone with 2-3 ballistic hardener and no therm hardener.

another thing is, that youll only need around 50km optimal, iirc thats what their bs orbit at, you can always switch to longrange ammo to draw aggro or pop small things from afar.

and yes, you really want to have more time to run your booster.

greetings

I would claim with that kind of range you won't need your tank much, but I know guristas like to hit from long range :(

Your tank is too low, you will need a XL booster for harder missions (or a large complex).

Maybe replace a magstab for a DCII, and replace the shield resist rigs for CCC ?

Rokh has a weak cap, to run an XL booster for an extended period of time you're going to need a cap booster.

I'm seeing a lot of mainly missile pilots here, I think. >_<

Many of the fits need to drop the 4th mag stab for another tracking enhancer. It'll apply more damage, and free up a bit of cpu in the process. Afterburners are also nice, since the rokh is slow as christmas.

The rokh has no damage bonus, but being shield tanked it can fit 4 damage mods without sacrificing much at all.

The 4th mag stab adds about 40 DPS, which is the same as the 4th BCS on a CNR.

You'll notice that my 2nd fit has 3 tracking mods, any more would be a waste because of stacking penalties.

So yeh, a good fit will have 4 mag stabs AND 3 tracking mods.

Disclaimer: I don't know what I'm talking about, I've never used a rohk for missions.

If you want to spend some isk, what about doing the two pith medium boosters, get a more or less cap stable fit and still have sufficient tank.

Also, just from experience with other ships, I'd limit the MFS to 3, put a tracking enhancer or something in place of the 4th one.

I plan on living forever.......so far, so good.

Untested fun. With no implants:
21+22km range with Null, 815dps.
7+16km with CN AM, 997dps
401hp/s

If I were to EFT-warrior this fit by making the magstabs faction, I'd get 1048dps.
Some modifications to the fit also make it great for incursions.

And no prop mod. You've made a mission ship that does 111m/s with max skills. Have fun slowboating between gates and controlling range.

Lose a TC, add an AB. Then, lose a mag stab and add a TE to make up for the lost TC. With Javelin and T2 mag stabs, the difference is between 3 and 4 mag stabs is 37 dps....or roughly half the damage of a flight of light drones. You'll have an effectively larger tank due to being able to kite the heavier ships, and will more than make up for the lost direct dps with the extra damage you'll be able to apply by controlling range.
