was sitting in a WH today thinking to myself. im hungry.

first stop my fav international takeaway website. then i thought to myself. wouldnt it be nice if there was a eve partnering with an international company like the one i use.

my thoughts were that

example:

your flying to jita and your hungry. you see your local junkfood space caravan parked up along your trade route. why not pull over for a quick pit stop and order that take away for when you arive at jita. you order it and are on your merry way. as you approach jita 30-45 mins later a little delivery shuttle pulls up along side you saying your order is ready and he is justpacking it for transport. (i.e leaving the takeaway joint) knock knock its at your door and you thank the npc or kill him if your food is bad. what better way to give feedback.

job done and you didnt even have to get out of your chair.

not quite lol..aurum on the otherhand might work but i was thinking more of a bilboard type link to their website or a version that integrates better into eve universe. the one i use i register with and just choose what i want and its on its way. no number punching or anything.. cant be more securer than registering to your character via api. for identifying purposes.

or something like that

Nice though probably the most pointless idea ever :P

Though...I'm hugry too, I shall eat a sandwich ^^

Interesting idea. While it would be an interesting part of the game it would need to give benefits or be essential to gameplay otherwise it will simply be ignored like some of the trade & goods commodities. However I think CCP's explanation for a lack of actual consumption of food is because the pods automatically keep you alive. However highly inexpensive ship fuel or something similar might add an interesting twist (cheap of course for those who like to trade and noobs). However ISK should be the currency used... I find that AUR spoils game play somewhat.

I heard rumors that they put something inside the free Protein Delicacy samples that makes you addicited to them.

I also heard that they shoot the samples at your mouth via a robot that looks like a giant walking Protein Delicacy.

yes im talking about actual real food lol

an international spanning website(which there are a few off) that lists all takeaways near you in real life. so you can order without breaking immersion and actually adds some immersion back into the game..

and fit every gamer steriotype out there...
You could just use the ingame brower to google fastfood restaurants or smth

Is this food delivered along with a big sock? Once every pod pilot has eaten, every pod pilot has to....

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...
