You have no reason to, honestly. Hopefully after this venture matures and everyone has been paid, my investors will vouch for me.

Just because this gives the impression you'll likely try to point to this post in future as evidence of your trustworthiness in order to get money from, you know, actual people, I suppose I should also link to the original post - you remember, the one where you called me a limey troll :o)

Then at least potential future victims investors will be aware of your reasons for refusing to give out even a limited customisable API key, your refusal to name any alts (despite accidentally doing so with one), your refusal to prove you have the ingame skills you claim and your refusal to prove you have the history of operations you claim.

Yes, this character is an alt. This character was started about 1 year ago and you can confirm this in-client. I have two other characters - an industrialist/hauler and a miner/industrialist.

Sellestiya wrote:

I hold 2 Eve accounts, 1 which holds my miner/industrialist and the other which holds my hauler/industrialist.

Hey, at least you've learnt and are now claiming you own two accounts rather than just two extra characters you claimed in the original thread. Because, well, Sellestiya, plus Intakani Genntelle, plus miner/industrialist, plus hauler/industrialist.... well that would be three extra characters, not two, and that would, well you wouldn't lie about such a thing.

Your magical investors, who never posted to note they'd invested, between all four of them, have only one post on MD in the past. Sky Hussarin and Diahrrea have never actually posted anything ever before on the forums, Andrew Lod has posted twice, ever, and your new mystery investor Raendel started posting at the end of August, and never once in the MD forum.
They don't seem like big followers of the MD forum, odd that they'd notice your offering out of all of them isn't it?

Of course, there are such strong links between your "investors" and you that we can easily tell one of two scenarios are in play - either you have personal history with these people (in which case they trust you not on your word in this thread but because they know all those things we were asking for in the original thread, like alts, skills, history), or they've invested because they are you.

And incidentally, how did you manage to get Intakani Genntelle into Eve University for a whole FOUR MINUTES on the 16th September?

Don't Eve Uni require limited API keys prior to acceptance of membership to ascertain alts etc? Did you provide limited API keys for all of your accounts as they also require (including the 2007 chars) or did you hide those ones?

You'll trust the corp you spend four whole minutes in with your alts and limited API but not the people you expect to hand over three billion isk?

Or was it perhaps instead a case of you slipping through the API check and spending your four minutes in the Uni clearing out the newbie hangers before scampering off / getting kicked?

Tekota seems to be a very critical examiner there. It's too bad that his paranoia has impaired his reasoning abilities.

I think I shall call him Horatio from now on. A pet name to expression my affection towards the boy.

There are four types of players in Eve:

Those who scam out of malice and greed.
and
Those who don't scam out of genuine good will.

Those who alert others to real scams out of genuine good will.
and
Those who accuse others of scamming out of malice.

I think it's obvious that Officer Tekota falls into the last category: Those who sit there constantly accusing others of scamming (I've read some of his other posts in this section - he doesn't actually participate in this section outside of accusing everyone of scamming) because playing Mr. Police Officer gives them a sense of importance and power. I have experienced this sort of player frequently in my own business venture.

The ironic thing about this whole arrangement is that Tekota is actually just as bad as the "scammers" he seeks to expose - nothing more than a malicious soul living at the expense of others. I would venture to argue that he is actually worse, as he accuses innocent players of scamming, which prevents honest folk from doing business.

At any rate, I have invested with Sellestiya before (granted it was a small amount, only 400,000,000) and that is why I chose to do so again.

I am sure Tekota here will accuse me of being one of her alts and demand I "prove myself" to him, to which I would like to preemptively reply: Tekota, you are nobody to me, and certainly not an authority figure that I, nor anyone else, has to prove anything to.

(INB4 "What a coincidence you're posting in this thread suddenly!" - Well yeah. She mentioned how you'd been harassing her, and it piqued my interest in the thread.)

Tekota just mad because this bond will probably fill before any of his bonds fill and will fill far before he actually manages to do anything profitable in eve.

He's just butthurt and upset that other people could be making money while he doesn't.

I'd like to pledge 20bil.

omg Shocked
anyone investing in this after reading the whole thread is a moron. Im kinda surprised Tekota is the only one pointing out obvious flaws with this project.

Let me summarize it here: the OP wants 3bil while having no rep, no collateral and not willing to give up API or any sort of info that would separate him from a scammer.

you have not pointed out any "obvious flaws" with my project. you have only expressed your (personal) reasons for distrusting me.

please remember that there is a big distinction between reality and what you feel.

Well if I was to point out some 'obvious flaws', I'd say:
1) Your unwillingness to divulge API information, despite custom keys. I'd like to see anyone give an adequate answer to that one.
2) Your investor list consists of 3/4 first time investors, with very little posting history behind them, with no logical reason as to why they would choose you of all the similar offerings on MD. Statistically speaking this is a rather extreme anomaly.

Are both of these points somehow 'unreal'?

Any 'real' investor will see this thread, and unfortunately for you, agree wholeheartedly with every point made by Tekota.

1) security reasons as stated before. i dont see anyone offering me their api keys! Cool
2) ohwellsowhat.? i recruited them from chat.

as i said before, if you dont want to invest then dont. you dont see me begging for investors! speaking of which :its really a moot argument, isnt it, considering the project is full and nearing completion?

silly guys. :)

Grr.. Gotta love these new forums deleting my posts.

Round 2.

1) I'm not suggesting you release your API to the public, but flat out refusal based on the classic 'security' excuse (common amongst past scams) is a fairly major red flag. Anyone who is seriously considering to invest 1) is unlikely to security gank your hauler, unless you scam and 2) probably has enough money that whatever your 'market niche' is, they either already know about it or it won't benefit them.

2) Unknown investor = automatic alt. At least that's the MD mindset, again based on past scams and another red flag.

I do agree it's a moot point, but just from an outside point of view, this just looks like a stepping stone to trying to convince real investors that you're legit. I apologise if that's not the case, but you may want to consider this in the future, aswell as the points Tekota already tried to outline.

I'm staggered you're still trying to make a faux rep grind out of this - all you've acheived thus far is burn so many alts that can't be used in future for such shenanigans.

Ok, remember Intakani Genntelle - the alt as mentioned above which you accidentally outed in the previous thread and was just a "market checking alt". The alt as noted above who spent four whole minutes in Eve University. The alt who is totally not an obvious alt of Raendel your miracle as if by magic the investor appeared backer. Anyone curious would have had both these chars on watchlist for the last month or so and observed correlated log on times and behaviour but obviously that's just me and I can't prove that one way or another - what is public is employment history:

Intakani Genntelle joins Random Precision 08/24 11:55 - 08/28 21:22
Raendel joins Random Precision 08/24 11:55 - 08/28 - 21:27

Intakani Genntelle joins Big River Industries 08:31 01:32 - 09/01 01:52
Raendel joins Big River Industries 08/31 01:32 - 09/01 01:59

Intakani Genntelle joins Hephaestus's Forge Industrial Corporation 09/13 03:18 - 09/16 00:45
Raendel joins Hephaestus's Forge Industrial Corporation 09/13 03:18 - 09/16 00:51

Intakani Genntelle joins Eve University 09/16 00:45 - 09/16 00:49
Raendel joins Eve University 09/16 00:54 - 09/18 20:25

Intakani Genntelle joins Crimson Horde 09/19 21:05 - 09/21 03:32
Raendel joins Crimson Horde 09/19 21:06 - 09/21 03:31

Intakani Genntelle joins The.Horde 09/21 04:12 - 09/21 05:39
Raendel joins The.Horde 09/21 04:13 - 09/21 05:38

Now any real future investors in your scams schemes will go in forewarned, all you've done is burn alts, and in the extremely unlikely event that any of your investors are real you've cast such serious doubt on their names too that any future MD trust based excersise will be trickier.

For the record, and Eve-Search, alt list:
Known and admitted alts of Sellestiya: Intakani Genntelle
Almost certainly alts of Sellestiya: Raendel, Andrew Lod
Very probably alts of Sellestiya: Diahrrea, Sky Hussarin

Still trying I see Raendel?

Hey, aren't you the same Raendel who used to offer buddy invites? Oh, wait, I see from the current live version of that thread that you're not any more. I also note that on that thread the mods had to "remove a member of the program, as per the rules set out in the same original post.". I wonder if that was you?

Of course, one can only speculate as to the reasoning. Perhaps it was the rule that stated "Please also note that using alts to falsify your offer is considered scamming and will be removed with a possible warning, forum ban or removal from participation in this thread.". We'll never know for sure.

Now, naturally, scamming and using alts are perfectly legitimate plays here on the MD forum, potential investors must do their own research to safeguard their ISK using all the tools available to them to ascertain trustworthiness and uncover hidden alts.

The overwhelming evidence available all points to Raendel, Sellestiya and Intakani Genntelle being the same person.

Thanks to an anonymous tip (and this next bit is all perfectly deniable, take with a huge shovelful of salt) I'd be tempted to go so far as to suggest that Raendel and Sellestiya are on the same account, the same account that once held Ardolfe (who tragically appears to have had a freak biomass accident after posting to big up Raendel's buddy invite program). A second account holding Intakani Genntelle allegedly also held Ishakenie and Ishkutanne; tragically, both of these characters also appear to have accidentally fallen into the biomass, but at least Ishakenie managed, with her dying breath, to endorse Raendel's buddy invite service before succumbing to the flames.
