What is captcha ?

In order to kill mining bots, put a captcha request when the player activate a mining module.

In order to kill courrier bots, put captcha request when the player request the contract.

In order to kill belting bots, put captcha request when firing on a NPC.

This has totally never been suggested before.

Please read security part of CSM meeting report. I believe it will help you a lot to understand what are good solutions to botting and why this is not. Also, you are first person I ever met who likes captcha.

CCP really please dont use Upgraded, Limited, Experimental and Prototype in item names. It sounds like the item is actually worse than basic meta 1 item. Use Calibrated, Enhanced, Optimized and Upgraded. Its really easy to understand that the item is better than meta 1 and its also in alphabetic order.

Bots can be programmed to read and understand Captchas better than many humans.

This will only effect the humans.

I too want eve to die inside of a week.

Obviously nobody has ever created a bot that could bypass CAPTCHA, ever!

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

Captcha would make what is already chores, akin to cleaning a toilet bowl with a toothbrush, even worse for non-bots.

Make the regularly botted jobs less tedious and more challenging so that actual people would want to do them .. design them in such a fashion that the clock-work operation of a bot is more easily identified for extra oomph.

Introduce accountability (ie. Snitch Law) to corps/alliances when it comes to botting .. make bot users persona non grata in Eve.

i would like that every time somebody tries to warpscramble or jam me, he would have to fill out a captcha.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
