I would love to see hard evidence as well, and I am getting it. However while they wont allow me to see any proof of their innocents, and conduct themselves as criminals, there is little choice but to assume them enemies... They certainly act like it.

Then I suggest until you have hard evidence you should lay off the slander, it saves you a lot of embarassment later should you be proven wrong.

That said, your ... fanaticism in this is making me wonder as to what exactly your motives are.

Since you continually persist in calling them 'criminals' and have openly declared your willingness to attack civilian colonies without provocation, I'm not at all surprised that they're refusing to cooperate.

I mean, seriously -- you call us 'terrorists', and yet you're willing to attack colonists, Goldcore? Why don't you kick a puppy or two, while you're at it? That kind of thing does seem to be your style lately.

PIE used to have my respect as worthy opponents and capable fighters. Sadly, your conduct these past few weeks has downgraded you to the status of 'schoolyard bully'.

My good man, I assure you that this standard of jurisprudence is not universal. "Guilty until proven innocent" is far more common than some might think.

He has the gist of it.

Incidentally, these oft-repeated "new" threads are tiresome. I'm sure I'm not alone in seeing no need for additional Disciples news about every-little-thing.

I strongly suspect this trend will continue, and in a few months Todako will be starting a new and separate IGS thread for each and every successful bowl movement.

The unquenchable cry for liberty was heard and answered tonight by Captain Hadras and the Disciples of Ston Emancipation and Matriculation Center in Ealur received another 140,300 people freed from the bonds of cruel slavery. The even began when I received a note from Captain Hadras that he we going to be on a slave liberation operation in Dakba and to expect word from him about receiving those he liberated. A second note was received that called for emergency assistance at the station above Amarr VIII. 4172 liberated slaves were sick, infirm or injured. I took a fast shuttle from Sigga to Ealur, assembled our medical team and took the Freedom Liner post haste to Amarr. We built her with state of the art medical facilities. Aliastra has provided us with thw best of Gallentean medical staff and technology. When we arrived we took them on board and began diagnosis and treatment. Most of the issues were simply because of mal-nutrition, overwork, dehydration and exhaustion. When we arrived in Ealur, they were broght to the hospital facilities there. Most will be released in a day or so. Most just need basic care. Thanks to Captain Hadras' quick headed action, they will get all they need.

What came next was the astonishing tale that these were only a fraction of those freed. 136,128 more were on their way directly to Ealur. When the news hit the community there, the station roared. The thirst for liberty has been ignited. We will share the story so that it may spread and others will hear it and catch the vision.

Let me quote Captain Hadras in our conversation ealier: Tovil Hadras > I just wish more would take up the cause. Hear those words, take up the cause. Let the slave stalls be emptied! Let the slave auction markets be cleared. Let every man, woman, boy, and girl in bondage be released to freedom.

It is reported that one capsuleer is listed as the "owner" of all these former slaves. Apparently she dumped them all in Dakba into the hands of merciless slave marketers.

Congratulations Captain Hadras and the Disciples of Ston!. Did you ever dream that you would see days like this when you first began? This is what it is all about.

O yes and I have an idea for a new thread... It is entitled, "Silas Vitalia wants to watch your bowel movement." You know, we always thought there was something just a little weird about that girl, but a poop fetish? That's a bit much.

I think it's clear who has a fetish for that sort of thing, considering you all try your damndest to fill the IGS with such high quantities at every juncture.

While others sleep, some were hard at work on behalf of recently frred slaves and those yet to be freed. The Disciples of Ston have managed to secure additional space of Fahruni, next door to Ealur. Aliastra has a smaller station there with limited space. But, there is also another development. Numenor Benevolent Holdings (NUVOS henceforth) has managed to arrange a meeting between Bowman and May Cotton and Santimona Sarpati of the Sisters of Eve. The Cottons are hoping to secure use of some space on their station in Fahruni. That meeting is to take place early today in Fahruni. We are hopeful for positive developments on that front.

While we are very indebted to Edaine for his help in this area, we wish he and Ms. Vitalia would argue elsewhere. Thank you.

Bowman and May Cotton are remaining with the Sisters for a few days but they report excellent progress. Aliastra and the Sisters maintain a presence in that system and surrounding systems and are willing to help with what may amount to a major refuge situation. Cottons pushed the issue of establishing enclaves of freed Minmatar slaves in Amarr space. “Let the message be sent that communities will be established here and that organizations here will openly support and/or tolerate the same.” (May Cotton) Capsuleers are in a unique position to use Corporate standing to lease/occupy space to provide open work, educational, family, worship, etc. environments in territories where slavery is still legal and practiced.

We have reports that slaves are being imported from The Khanid Kingdom into Amarr space to supply the decreasing numbers of slaves being sold on the open Market in Amarr space. “Forces of freedom can battle in like manner, liberating slaves from Khanid space and establishing free communities here in Amarr space.” (Bowman Cotton). “Who better than the Sisters to provide humanitarian support for such an endeavor?” “Let Ealur and the surrounding systems where the Amarr Empire first enslaved whole races instead become places where whole free communities of former slaves are established.” (May Cotton) The Sisters will not be providing a Residence facility but a support facility to help meet recurrent and emerging needs among the residents of the surrounding systems.

It gets more interesting. Freedom Extension Shipping and Retail has three stations in Dresi and one in Aharalel. We have secured use agreements with them. In other words, space is available. The Disciples of Ston have not sat by idly while these things were in development. Months ago, we began a recruitment effort among our Matriculants to train groups of formers slaves to eventually work as administrators, technical engineers, social workers, medical technicians, etc. Everything from daycare providers to dietary counselors. We have 5000 trained employees ready to travel from our original Matriculation Centers to ready new ones in Fahruni and Dresi and Aharalel. They are excited about the project and see this as a way to help their brothers and sisters begin free lives.

We expect news from NUVOS in a perhaps less than a week.

In judicial systems that use that concept, when someone is accused of something and offers no defence at all a guilty verdict is often just a formality

When the verdict is decided by the prosecution, everyone ends up guilty.

Sigh, another one of these announcements?

Dear Disciples of Ston,

I appreciate what you are doing, but have you considered learning the defintion of "humility" and perhaps practicing some of that? Honestly, it's starting to sound like this is just a massive attention-seeking operation that is conveniently riding on top of the fight for freedom. Some of us are losing patience for it.

Sincerely,

NUVOS invites Mr. Blackshell to make a sizable donation towards the liberation of slaves. There is more than enough boasting about all the violence and everyone's warrior prowess. So quit complaining and cough it up. How about 1 billion? That will free over a million slaves. We would even post it here and call you a hero. As far as actions are concerned, the NUVOS thread has the logs as proof, so shut up and put out Mr. Blackshell. These are stories that should be told.

I know what I have done (and what I will continue to do) for my people, and I am content with that.

However, it is pathetic and shameful that you would tempt me to buy their freedom. A billion ISK to save a million people? To do what, line the holders' pockets with ISK? Slavery cannot be solved by throwing money in its direction -- that just encourages more kidnappings. You need to take the holders' ships, money, space, and power, until they give up the people they hold. Paying them is out of the question.

Or perhaps is this to feed your own pockets while you fly dirt-cheap shuttles?

Tell you what, since I am a reasonable person, contract me 200,000 Freed Slaves in Rens for 1 billion ISK and I will pay (I am assuming one "unit" of Freed Slaves corresponds to 5 actual people, due to the total 400 kg mass). That is reasonable. I am not, however, giving you free rein to roll expensive cigars out of my ISK, which would otherwise all go towards helping my people.
