This has always been a minor annoyance for me (that and the socket message), but since 1.1 or one of the subsequent patches, it happens to me upon login more often than I successfully connect. It still wouldn't be so much a problem, except for this:

After I click OK, that Authenticating bar slowly fills up, and then sits there, rendering that client useless. I have to close the window and try again.

it took me FOUR client restarts to successfully connect this morning. This didn't happen pre-Crucible.

Also, can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the laser crystal loading bug that was introduced a year ago?

I have the same issue with the Authenticating bar filing up. First it tells me it cant connect then the bar fills up and nothing happens.

In my case what I noticed is when I start the client and login at once it works usually..when I try to login a few seconds to a min later it doesnt work anymore.

I have this issue also. It is quite annoying to have to keep restarting the client to log in.

between all this issues manufactured with crucible it makes one ponder the necessity of multiple accounts which just generate more angst when it takes several times to log in on ONE client... It would seem to be a responsible company would admit they created as many unintended consequences as they did new features and time would be credited onto the customers accounts.

just sayin

Confirming the issue. Very annoying indeed, have to press Enter twice or three times.

Meh. This isn't preventing me from logging in, just delaying it. There's no reason to demand they give you a credit; just demand they FIX THE DAMNED THING.

Come on CCP, this is broken. It shouldn't be *that* hard to fix something like this.

Pressing enter doesn't fix it for me. I'm having to restart the client multiple times.

This should have been fixed with today's 1.1.2 update. Please let me know if it is still happening.
