My fellow Mitt-dwellers and our friends to the north:

Fanfest is right around the corner. Times are tough here, and I wouldn't be surprised if many of us will be stateside while Reykjavik is having a party without us.

I say, we should all get together somehwere between Detroit and Lansing (PLEASE NOT FLINT) for some debauchery of our own.

I'm game, I can get to Detroit without problem, but lacking a car I can't get any farther. Any Detroiters willing to get me from downtown and I'm there. Cause you know, I'm in Windsor, Tunnel Bus FTW!

You sure you want US Dollars, Canadian is trading higher, lol. Either way, I can help you out on gas, 20 enough? The tunnel bus makes a loop around downtown Detroit, so we can work out where I shall meet you. Still sounds like a lot of fun if we can get enough people to go.

I'm not picky on where we go, aside from one question, where are the pints cheaper and stronger?

ABC and Griz. Peak are both in the medium price range, but they have an excellent selection of any kind of beer you could ever want.

This still a go? The date is fast approaching so I need to know so I can make the necessary plans and adjustments to attend. If not for this date, then perhaps we could push it back to another one that works? Excited to know more!

Ok, maybe push it back further into the summer and keep trying? A get together of any form would be awesome, I had a lot of fun at the Flint meet up. Time will tell.
