Greetings New Eden,

After much thought, I have decided that I will be running for a chair in the Council of Stellar Management this year. I am not a man of many words, but I assure you I am a man of my word.

If given the opportunity I am looking to focus on the aspects of low security space in an attempt to breath some new life into it. After living in lowsec for the better part of two years and listening to concerns among the people I fly with, people on the forums, even the people I fight against; there are things that can be changed to make all of low security space become a more viable option for new & old players alike.

While I have not had any direct involvement in factional warfare, I have been able to observe the mechanics used over my time in low security space. I think we can all agree that Faction Warfare is incomplete and has great potential. With CCP planning to look at Faction Warfare and enact some major iterations, I would like to make sure that knowledgeable advice is given to CCP so the right changes are made.

The storyline for EvE Online is very rich and continues to impress. There are some things that have been noted within the community about consistency when it comes to PF, and some parts of this story have been in stasis for too long. I would like to make sure CCP continues to enrich and develop the wonderful backstory and current events of EVE as they have in the past.

CCP has already made great strides with the small things, but there is so much more that could be done! Things like music, user interface, and the bounty system.

As your voice to CCP, I would like to provide a line of communication unfilled by those who occupy other parts of the game like 0.0 and high-sec. A well rounded CSM is a knowledgeable CSM. With your support, we can help CCP make changes that help all of EVE, instead of just a certain part.

With all the breathing needed to infuse life into low sec you will not have time to speak anyhow.

no, its better to be a natural orator. the kind of person who can make a convincing argument out of just about anything, and can explain a problem with crystal clarity.

If that is your skills then the CSM is certainly not the place for you.

To succeed in that game you simply need the skill to drink plenty of beer while keeping your head cool, make best friends with the dev in charge and then bring up "suggestions".

It is called "meta-gaming".

come out with a zero tolerance policy to MT in eve "vanity" OR "game-impacting" and I'll give you a vote.

But I'm looking for candidates who sternly oppose the notion of ANY content for eve online not coming by default with the client we pay a subscription for.

No to ship skins.
No to aurum clothes.
No Nex crap full stop.

Pledge to oppose the rot of microtransactions in Eve Online and I'll help give you a shot.

Hah! Funny. I was going to say you may not be a man of many words, but certainly man of your word... Creepy.

John will have my vote because after flying with him for a year and a half, I've learned he gets things done, and keeps his promises. He puts everyone else before his own, and burns with a desire for what he desires most like none other.

He cares about his projects more than anyone I know, and is fixed on getting things done. He is a CSM I can believe in.
