But now i must vent that a bunch of internet buddies i've known for years today just jumped at each other's throat in a painful and disgusting way to see.

Really, you never get to know people, that's a common place, but is sad when trust and private information shared in the good times is used to harm and insult others just because they made you angry or you misunderstood each other.

Really unsetting.

Yeah I understand how you feel. Pizza guy was late on my order one time and out of anger I killed his whole family. I knew where they lived because he mentioned he was right down the street one time. I guess in hindsight I should have just denied him a tip.

I have seen the same things in EVE, some I have known in EVE for years suddenly becoming hostile towards each other, all due to misunderstandings.

This interpretable language we created for our self is not very well suited for online communication, at least in text format.
