ya, 1 main and 2 secondary characters. I have a 2nd character camping out in Jita but I use that one just to buy stuff on the market and then ship it down to my main character in 0.0. However, you can only train 1 character at a time. If my main character can't really do much right now then my 2nd character will be even more worse.

Like I said, I could buy a character but don't really want to do that as it would be expensive

We used to do C5 & C6 sites with up to four capital escalations (only reason I trained for a carrier). We occasionally loaned friends-of-friends a T3 ship (1.2b value) to join us for an evening. They were always astonished by earning 700 million or so ISK in an evening (4-5 hours), but for us that was low (five-way split).

Not all w-space corps are as competent, but if you get into a good one, ISK isn't an issue.

Training secondary characters for specialized roles does not take up that much time. Think of it as an investment to support your main long term. You bear some pain now, while your main is not training in exchange for having an easy way to get steady long term income.

Lots of people who try to focus on pvp usually have a second account so that training alts does not stop training on your main.

Finally you can just sell PLEX.

So, after about a month of playing, I'm still trying to find out how to make isk. As a brand new toon living in 0.0, I can't really fly out in space to rat or run missions as I'm not strong enough to do it yet and survive. I can't use a alt in high-sec for missions/ratting as that toons skills are basically at 0 and I have no time to train it as I'm busy training my main character. Can't run incursions as I'm not strong enough. I did buy a plex to get me going and that allowed me to buy about 5 scouting ships for about 110M so I would not like to keep having to buy plexes every month or so.

Only thing I can think of is to travel up to low/hi in my main toon where the ratting/missions are easier. But the isk from that is not very good, plus that would interfere with my pvp time. I could buy a pve toon and ship but is a bit expensive as well, even for a just a basic one.

so, any thoughts

When I first moved to nullsec, I was a farily noob character that couldn't fit any t2 modules, and pretty much lived on scraps of loot I found in wrecks. There are two things that really got me income while training my skills up:

1.) Fishing -- This is a less-than-common name for using a "seemingly" weak ship to kill other ships. In particular, I would primarily hunt interceptors in t1 frigates (I started out using the tristan, then the merlin, and finally the rifter.). I have a corp mate that is currently having a blast destroying dramiels and slicers in a kestrel. To properly fish, you really need to understand the weaknesses and strengths of your own ship, as well as your opponents, and take advantage of it! My original newb-fit tristans cost less than 1.5m each, and if I could kill 1 inty out of every 4 I engaged, I'd profit. IMO, if you become good at fishing, you'll often become very good at PvP.

2.) Salvaging -- Particularly, salvaging t2 ship wrecks. While fitting a salvager on your ship is often frowned upon, some t2 salvage is very valuable. It's not uncommon for the salvage from an assault ship or interceptor to be worth more than the ship itself.

How to make isk with pvp:

1. Sucide gank groups against juicy targets in high sec.

2. Be part of a merc corp. (( get paid by one group to kill another ))

3. Join a mafia group. (( aka pay for protection racket ))

4. Pirate and be damn good at it.

5. Join a dedicated pvp group in 0.0 that has a very high kill ratio.

6. Ninja/bait poeple.

Its your own fault kid. you got seduced by the myth of the pirates life. You cant do anything as you dont have the skills. Pirating is poorly paid and you may well end up stuff in lowsec. Dont expect any mercy from anyone in nullsec.

Run a few level 3/4 missions and build up some skills.

Otherwise you could offer yourself to a nullsec alliance and they may start you off as a tackler, but you may end you owned by them.

You ran before you could walk. And now you are in nullsec with no way to make isk
I dont normally troll, but when i do i do it on General Discussion.

Seems to me that the OP wants it easy, without effort and NOW. The "but it interferes with my PVP time" is a bit of a fcking given. If you start out doing missions (on an alt) then pay will be low but will increase at high lvl. If you're in a fully functional alliance (not mere pvp as RK is) there's tons of things you can do that helps the corp/alliance for which, in return, I'm sure they'll be happy to reward you, be it hauling, making BMs or whatnot. This thread is full of ppl giving you advise but as always, no effort no gain. Seems effort and time is not something you want to "waste" so good luck with that.

Alternatively, have a look at the link in my signature, one of my guides talks about making isk as a newbie.

Excellence is not a skill, it's an attitude.
