how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

you should have asked before you started grinding :)

Standing Mechanics

This EVE Wiki post gives you an overview of what standings get you and a chart showing what higher faction standings provide.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

What is this "level 10" that you speak of?

Since when do we have levels for anything but skills?

Confusing this is. Explanation forthcoming I am hoping.

Actually achieving standing 10 is impossible. You can only get 9.9999999999999999999999999999999999...

While it's true that you do, by the time you get them it's kinda meaningless. By the time you've run enough missions to even get the frigates you've collected a couple billion ISK in mission bounties and rewards, so it doesn't really give you anything. It's like giving someone a cookie after they made it to the top of Everest, it doesn't really match to the time/effort required to get to that point.

A few things happen but you probably wont notice them and most of them take effect at 8 not 10
