Can somebody recommend a remote shield rep drake fit for lower end sleeper sites?

You dont need to remote rep, just passive tank.

No offense but if you can't even passive fit a drake then you should stay away from sleepers.

That being said, omni tank. Start with a C1, watch for scrambling. Get used to how they work before moving to harder stuff. Once you get into a C3 (with a drake that is pretty lol) they begin neuting and fully passive is REQUIRED from a drake or it is dead. There is a C3 site which does not neut the hell out of you, but takes ages with crappy DPS.

No offense taken. I'm coming back after a LONG hiatus. I was familiar with sleepers from my previous playtime, but was in a wh that benefited armor tanking. Couple the hiatus, and not knowing possible passive drake changes, with not really being much of a shield tanker period, well my ignorance was monumental.

Sorry - but I thought passive tank was no Cap needed - Invulnerability Field II requires cap, or do I misunderstand passive

In this context, yes, you do misunderstand. But, it is a common misconception at least that the inclusion of Invulns or Active Hardeners in a fit makes it active-tanked. If it has a Shield Booster or Armor Repairer it is active-tanked. If it does not have either of those, it is passive-tanked.

This.

As long as you're not stacking SPRs, you have plenty of cap to run hardeners just fine. It's not a 'true passive' tank, which involves lots of SPRs and resist amps but is good for little more than tanking, but it's passive in that it's tanking via resists and buffer and regen (instead of a repper/booster). Using hardeners with passive shield tanks is kinda SOP in most situations, there are very few ships that benefit from going totally pure passive tank, since it leaves the fit lacking on DPS.

I can't believe there are still people around who don't know how to fit a drake....
It's not like you can accidentally armour tank it or put lasers on it Roll

What? No lasers on a Drake? Sad
