Well the main deviation are cross winds at those ranges... You can get multiple in different directions. Many of the factors are constant, but unless the fire control can know, and calculate 3 separate wind directions, and speeds, bullet is going to miss.
Which is why a guided one would be better.

Overall probably overkill for most small arms, but mechanized etc with guided shells... The guided artillery shells actually turn themselves off if they deviate to far.

Some of you people are downright scary. Here I'm thinking that Deer doesn't have a chance now and you are all like VIP assassination!

Chances are this ammo would only go along with people using the .50 cal now. Would only make sense to give the mile long bullet to the mile long gun.

I live in New Mexico, and they don't "do" visitors, that's for sure... dad's friend landed on Sandia Nat'l Labs property with a hot air balloon by mistake and apparently they weren't so hospitable to guests. lol.
