Reduce the Jump Clone timer to 22 hours.

I'll keep the explanation relatively short and let discussion in the thread discuss it.

A full 24 hour jump clone timer has the unfortunate tendency to slowly accumulate extra time on the timer until in moves past your primetime. It also carries a lot of inconvenience when trying to jump clone after you log in every day.

The "First Win of the Day" bonus present in League of Legends exists on a 22 hour timer. I think this minor change will be a big step in making jump clones more convenient while not making them more effective than intended.

Supported. Although I would rather have a skill that reduces the jumpclone cooldown by 1 hour per level, to make it less likely that the cooldown impacts the next playing session.

Well, that's what the 2 hour flat time reduction is for. I don't think we should need to train a skill for a quality of life change such as this though.

Agree 100%

I log nearly the same time each day. But this can vary and because I jump cloned one day means I can't jump back for my next play session.

22h would have essentially mena you can only use it once per play session and believe that is the goal of the current timer.
Right now to JC back to empire to run inccursions for a play period means an extra day also in empire for the next play session if i got on late that day(silly kids staying up late and thus I log in a bit later)

This is essentially what I'm talking about. A 24 hour timer means that there's always a bit of carryover between when you normally log in and when you can jump clone. It's a short enough amount of time that it just feels like an inconvenience instead of a trade-off. If you have to move something to another station a few systems over one day, and you're late for your jump clone timer cooling down, that extra time continues to keep carrying over.

Reducing it to 22 hours is a quality of life change that won't make them any better, but will simply make them more convenient as they'll be available when you're able to play more frequently and with less short 20-30 minute timers that you end up just sitting and waiting for.

2 hours is about right, it's not going to cause any imbalance in game and looks like it will benefit a lot of players who use JC's and increase the amount of pew pew going on, thus stimulating the economy.

And the economy is one of the biggest parts of the game and more ships getting blown up due to player being able to clone jump even 10 minutes sooner is good for business. It's basic economics. More fun, more isk flowing about, everybody's happy.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

It's not really about more ISK flowing about or anything. It's just a small thing that will make things more convenient without realistically strengthening jump clones.

Well yeah, it's about getting more done with the time you have online and enjoying the game, but as a good proportion of those clone jumps will probably result in being able to go on a CTA or low sec roam, the added bonus is more explosions overall. It's all good.

I don't see any real drawbacks, and I agree that while the concerns listed don't really affect ME personally, I see how this could be annoying to others and I would have no problem with that issue being solved.

+1 support for the 2h reduction, 22h is still significant that not everybody just clonejumps away from stuff / or into stuff. But still doesn't shift your 'game' time by having to log on a little bit later everyday until it reaches the point you have to skip an entire day of doing stuff to get your clone time back to normal

+1. Would much rather have it implemented with a skill though so I can choose to take it to +3 or +4 hours. Regardless, 22 hours would be a massive improvement to the way JC's work.

Supported - I've skipped out on JC'ing many times simply because I knew it would leave me out of place for the next day's ops.
