Somehow lost the career track....

Still have a couple days on the trial, but shortly after I started, real life intervened, and the agents for the tracks I'd poked into for the career funnels have all notified me that they're "disappointed in me."

Very well, but I still haven't finished the tutorial missions with them, and now they are listed as no missions available.

I'd like to actually finish out the tutorial mission track. Is there any way to get them back?

Not sure if stuff like this that should happen at all... but anyway there are several systems with career agents so can try out other ones.

You can also petition and GM will, most likely, reset mission progress for your career agents, but considering response times you can sometimes get I wouldn't bother with only "couple days left" on trial acc.

Or you can simply start another trial account (will have to create another chracter, ofc). Or just create another character, but, again, hardly any point on almost expired trial acc.

Planning on buying in if nothing crops up on the radar as "R/L getting in the way" to play longer, so a few days doesn't matter much in that regard. I just want to finish the missions without starting over from zero.

Unfortunately, you're probably stuck starting over from zero in regard to the missions, because RL got in the way. It's a bit harsh that it happens to a newbie (Haven't done "tutorials" since starting in Rev II ... the tutorials back then were *terrible*).

As noted, there are other career agent systems (I think each race has three sets?), so you could go about it that way. or a second trial that you *just* use for the tutorials, then forget about.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

If the tutorial agents aren't giving you any more missions please go ahead and file a petition and let a GM know they can help you out.

F12 > Petition > Game play > Missions in Progress.

Starting from zero with Career Agents isn't that big a problem. Each agent only offers 10 (or 6 for Exploration Agent) missions and doing the mission serie don't take that long. It should even be faster on second time since you have learned more about EVE.

It happens ALL THE TIME, either the offer expires or some newbie refuses the mission because they plan to do it later and bam, they cannot talk to the agent anymore. It's actually one of the most common problems I see in Rookie Help.

I agree that it shouldn't happen. It does happen. It's easy to have happen out of ignorance (which a new player has plenty of). It should get fixed.
