Hello

Im can fly my raven now and was wondering if anyone had any fittings for it that i can use in incursions.

I cant use t2 cruise or t2 webs but i can use the rest.

Please can i haz any fittings posted here as i need them.

Don't say that, the Raven is great for sniping in Assault / HQ (best DPS at 100+km range).

Though not getting a CNR is not excusable… And you NEED T2 cruise. Big smile

I must admit never taking a raven to incursions, but I have cald BS 5, T2 cruises - and I remember fury ammo sucking even on BS sized ships... (i have good skills and I fit rigors ofc).

I find apocalypse 100x better for sniping then raven, I may be wrong but hey...

And this provides what that a tengu doesn't? I mean, seriously, a raven w/ t2 cruise, fury missiles, and 4 CN BCU's does 650 missile dps. Same raven w/ CN launchers and CN missiles does 601dps. A tengu w/ t2 heavy launchers, fury missiles, and 4 CN BCU's does 715dps. Admittedly it will either have to move or use a range rig to reach 120km with furies loaded, but those furies also do full damage to the sniping cruisers, unlike the raven. Now, if you use a CN raven with t2 launchers, fury ammo, and 4 CN BCU's, the dps is slightly better than the tengu, at 758... but it still has trouble applying that damage to the cruisers. Lastly, you can refit the tengu to run vanguard sites (just swap midslots around mostly) and though its not optimal for vanguards, it can still do them. The raven can't.

I'd say that the difference between Tengu and CNR is negligible, even against cruisers, if you factor the two TPs.

Also the CNR has drones and a utility high slot, and is half the price Blink

Also CNR applies damage across all types at the same rate, Tengu is only kin. I fly both a lot in lvl4s and rate my CNR over the Tengu atm.

Tengu is way more fun though.

U can take raven to incursion but there only 2 possible outcomes.

a) u will spam for group for 2 hours and u wont get any - u will be pissed
b) u will get a group but one hour later u'll be flying home in pod because trash group u have been invited to was completely wiped - -u will be pissed

Dont be a cheap ass and buy a proper incursion ship (Nightmare/mach/vindi).
If u cant fly any of those - fly a logi.
If u can't fly even a logi - don't bother to do incursions
Stay with L4 until u can fly anything mentioned above.
