Ideas to improve faction warfare even more

Weirdly enough, NPC factions are war decced by ennemy factions, yet their NPC corporation members (and the capsuleers helping them) arent in faction warfare. That should be changed. What i propose is to have the NPC corps automatically engaged in FW for their faction. So, any capsuleers joining an NPC corp will automatically join its militia.

That way, the only way to be "un"touchable, in faction warfare, would be to be independant

New characters would have to make the choice of either quitting or staying in their NPC school corp, under a grace time period. Passed that, they would be attackable by ennemy faction members. Independant players in high sec would be truly independant and thus, protected (read: avenged) by concord if attacked by anyone else or killed by concord if they attack someone Same for player corps and alliances with good or neutral standings with concord.

Ok I'll comment...

Your post is confusing. You talk about problems in FW with spying then come up with a proposal that doesn't seem connected to those problems, then conclude with something else about being untouchable in FW. You also throw in something about CONCORD protecting the weak, which I've never heard before. I'm sorry I don't get it, could be that no one else does either.

Not at all, i was saying that people put alts in untouchable NPC corp, in high sec, that can't be wardecced at all so PvP combat does'nt affect them, yet they still contribute to and help their empires by being members and paying taxes. Logically, since these empires are at war with their own ennemies, those characters in NPC corp, which are member of an NPC "alliance" faction, should be killable by the ennemy's own militia.

Then i went on to say that concord was a police force and had to protect the weaks, which are the independant capsuleers who arent in any NPC corps whatsoever and so, fall under the protection of Concord (like the player corps). They're considered cimple civilians.

I'll try rewriting my first post though, it is indeed a bit confusing.

Ah ok makes more sense now.

In general I agree with the NPC corps being part of FW. Although Malcanis proposed a somewhat different idea in his High Sec Manifesto where there's a selection of NPC corps a player can choose to join. Each with it's own level of risk equally matched by opportunities for rewards. Matched with the lore and risk vs reward balance, although more work for CCP this would probably be best for the game.

Player Corps like you suggested should remain an option for High Sec, but they should be fully subject to Wardecs from other player corps, and declaring war should be relatively easy and unlimited so as not to be avoided by abuse like today's Dec shields... Basically a return to Wardecs pre P Alliance nerf.

I also think player corps/alliances should be able to declare war on NPC corps/Factions effecting all member players of the NPC corp/Faction, taking CONCORD out of the picture but not Faction Navies etc.
