Low Sec Warning Connected To Aggression (Criminal Assist) Warning???

After many a post searches to find a thread about this, I have yet to find one.

As you might guess, yes today in an incursion I was fleeted got aggression and then blown up because my fleet member had aggression and I wasn't notified because I had suppressed the LOWSEC jump warning.

What I didn't understand and still don't is how the LOW SEC WARNING suppression is tied into the AGGRESSION WARNING suppressor? They should be two separate requests, not one in the same. By putting the AGGRESSION WARNING in with the LOWSEC warning, you are saying aggression can only happen in lowsec.. Clearly we all know this is not the case, and I regularly travel to Lowsec where my capitals are at, and back to high sec.

There should be an aggression confirmation screen and a lowsec confirmation screen, and they should ONLY be cleared one at a time, NOT together.

Thank you CCP for costing me a ship as I couldn't find any information stating that this is tied together. I don't know of one player that disagreed with me on this either. XWhat?X

perhaps you should instead replace that ship with what is clearly a huge pool of ISK from running incursions?

oh wait you'll have to run another 100 hours to replace it lmao

Just to be clear, what is the aggression warning?

Is it when you are about to shoot someone and get WTFPWND by Concord, or something else that I haven't seen yet?

Let me guess, they were all Incursion runners too?

I think what he is saying

The warning that pops up when you enter lowsec, can be turned off.

The warning that pops up when you select to rep another person that is aggressed, pops up and it should of been on.

The warning options to turn one off, defaults the other.

Even tough guys that jerk off to killmails might be concerned, anyone turning one thing off that defaults another would be pissed. Its like a claus in a contract, you agree to turn off one warning doesn't mean it should turn them all off so you want the other ones turned on just in case. Tough guys might be pissed if one day their open shoot on site anywhere game was suddenly shoot on site only lowsec and nullsec because CCP changed it so highsec is total carebear land but by logging in you agree to that its ok (roll with the idea, it would never happen but how would you feel that anywhere anytime you can shoot someone suddenly became here only, not there like say Battlegrounds in WoW...probably wouldn't like it)

I've turned off all the warnings, so I'd have to turn things on again ... but I'm pretty sure that the "only warning" you get about lowsec is that CONCORD won't be there to save your ass; and once you're in low you don't get the "hey, don't violence this guy" warning.

I've turned off the low sec jump warnings and still get the criminal act warning when I accidentally target a structure of some sort. Those are two separate warnings and you do still get them in low sec unless you're attacking a red flashy outlaw.

Was only a couple of hundred mill loss anyway, not a pimp ship like a lot of incursion bears

With the changes to gaining aggression from repping a criminal that was exploted in the early days of incursions, you should have gotten a warning and your repper modules would have shut down. To bypass that you would have had to manually re-activate them knowingly to gain that agression from the ship you were aiding.

The other alternative is that the pilot you were fleeted with was ina war dec with someone, you gained aggression from them when you repped him but you wouldn't receive any warning about performing a criminal act or aiding a known criminal since the war dec is ignored by Concord. There wasn't any Concord on your kill mail so that may be the most likely explanation.

If that's the case then it's possible you were duped into aiding the war target so the opposition could pop your ship. You'd have to decide that one for yourself.
