the Covert Ops cynp needs to have a diffrent icon to the normal cyno as its a pain when you fut the incorrect one and use it.

maybe just invert the colours

Actually the suggestion that you should be able to differentiate between two similar modules which fit different roles is not a bad one - much like you have two different icons (yay!) for MWD and AB (finally) it would not be a bad thing to have two different icons for a cyno generator and a covert cyno generator.

If you don't have anything constructive to say please don't bother posting.

And yes, it would be nice to have these mods differentiated, especially for those of us with our watches stuck on hot drop o'clock Twisted

I don't know much about our original poster's posting history, but this idea is at least a solid one. Throwing the cynosural field icons into photoshop and applying a filter wouldn't take much time at all, but would provide a very clean way to distinguish them.

At that point, it's just a matter of updating some database entries to point to the new icon. And since it's all client-side, it shouldn't have any performance implications.

Or you could mouseover, then move the icons and remember where they are.

We could also just do away with the HUD entirely and make sure that everyone uses keybinds. Dammit you had better ******* remember where the hell you put every mod on every ship!

Ooooorrrrr we could just improve the ******* game. But nuts to that I say! Roll

Yeah. Lets make the covert cyno icon look like the goatse man and the other one can stay as a fist. This would be in keeping with their vastly different purposes.

Maybe go shoot yourself.

I like this "idea" and why it isn't already implemented is beyond me. Some of the clowns playing this game will fight to the bitter end over ANY change no matter how needed it is.

Hell, fixing a BUG has caused people to cry endlessly on the forums about how stupid CCP is, how they are "catering to bads" and generate endless posts on how eve is "turning into wow".

God forbid people be able to dock without getting a black screen, YOU KNOW WHAT IM SAYIN?
