2 Billion bond at 15% - 2 months

Who am I?

I am Gottfried Jorgund. As that doesn't mean much to anyone reading, I am a station trader. I have been trading margins since January 11, 2012, and have managed to turn about 700M into 2.132.242.008 ISK. I am almost exclusively margin trading, but my goals are a little higher than that. I would like to begin moving higher volumes, as well as working on being able to trade some of the more expensive ships.

Why do I need this loan?

I would like to begin trading more expensive ships that have higher margins. However, with higher margins, comes higher escrow. I need to have more liquid ISK available for both large and small orders; I update orders once or twice a day, depending on my RL schedule, and since that makes me less competetive than the market bots, I need to be able to have a significant amount of ISK in escrow at any given time (I do have Margin Trading V).

What can I guarantee?

The sad but honest answer to this is "not much". At the moment, I have about 2B ISK (see above). I've been very successful in the last month, and I would like to thank the developers of EVEMentat for helping my trading :) However, I cannot guarantee much, as this is EVE and everyone is assumed to be a scammer. Who can? If I had the assets that I could spare to give collateral, then I would, but that is my problem ATM.

I also have several billion ISK in both buy and sell orders. I don't have much that I can give up and not hurt some of my current trades. The whole point of this bond is that I've reached a point where I need more buying power to make the jump to the next level of trader.

I don't have assets that I can really contract over, or I'd sell them for the liquid ISK. That is kinda the point of this loan. Now, I agree, I still haven't given you much of a reason to trust me, but I don't really know what to do. Either I get a loan and am able to jump into the next trading bracket moving much higher volumes, or I can't. I'd like to, but there's not a lot else I can do to make anyone trust me.

I could say a lot about how I'm an Eagle Scout, or how I'm active in the Church, or how I am a professional at a highly regarded university in the USA, but since I am not willing to provide enough information to identify myself on a public forum, then that doesn't mean much. So, if you are willing to take a chance and risk that I *might* scam you, but I also *might* provide you with 15% interest on a 2 month loan, then talk to me in-game. I'd be happy to hear from you.

To specify, the terms of the loan are:
2 Billion at 15% interest over 2 months
Start date is when the bond is filled - finish date is exactly 2 months later.

I will post the start of the bond as soon as it is filled. I am willing to take the bond in increments of 100m from up to 20 characters; however, I would prefer not to make my increments smaller than that. If for some reason you REALLY want to promise less than 100M, convo me ingame and we'll see if we can work something out.

I am generally online for an hour or two every day, but my schedule is pretty varied, so send me an evemail if you have questions and want them answered in-game.

Fly safe,
GJ

So, you post a link (although you did it wrong). Good job.

Now, did I cancel the auction? Yes, after receiving a bunch of **** and not enough bids. I'm not seeing your point? I decided to keep my station trading alt for a bit and see what I can do - I enjoy the ISK from incursions (on my main, of course) but a little semi-passive income is also nice, and I can do pretty good with a bit of ISK in the wallet.

You wanted to sell the char cos the trading was boring .
You didnt want to provide link to youre skills when trading the char , go figure now . A good sign that someone should trust you .
You decided to keep youre alt for a bit just the time needed to make some profit and then sell . Unless 2+ months is a bit.
You have plenty of isk from incursion's of youre main still you ask for more . Asking whos youre main is out of question i suposse ?
2.132.242.008 ISK and wtf is this do you actually think someone cares about youre 8 isk or 242k ? Writing down 2b wasnt pretty enough ?

So did i miss something or thats all ?

Opportunities multiply as they are seized.

The Royal Family is willing to invest 200,000,000 ISK to this bond in order to raise money to help save our family heirloom.

However because starting date is not yet known, we must add that we are only willing to send the money once starting date has been confirmed, and it is not later than 2012-02-29.

Once starting date has been confirmed, and you have also reserved place for us in this bond, we will contact Royal Treasury for immediate withdrawal of 200,000,000 ISK which will be deposited to your account within 24 hours.

We look forward doing business with you.

You wanted to ditch your char! That is always a good sign when you arrive in MD to ask for isk.
Two months ago you already had earned billions on a two month old char.
Now 2 months later, you have managed to make 2 billion from 700 million.
Your math skills seems to be even worse then my forum link skills. But apparently you manage to read the link anyway, I counted on people to do that. Since I am on an iPhone i dident bother fixing it.

Now it was a few years ago i trained any trade skills, but getting them all to V in just 2 months sounds doubtful.
I Cant fact check that atm.

You had one person that posted 3 times regarding your skill and eve board.
2 people who was reday, if you could confirm your skills.
One offer.
And one troll bid, but he also stated that he needed confirmation on those skills before he made any real offering.
I think they were very polite to you and made very reasonable demands.

Get out of here and go back to Jita local please.

All Trade skills to V is 8,960,000 SP total. (see my bioBig smile)

With optimal remap and +5 implants training speed is 45 SP/min, so getting 8.96 million SP would take about 4.5 months. (Adding Cerebral Accelerator would only take few days off.)

When OP made his thread [WTS] Station Trading Char - All Trading @ L5 he was less than 3 months old, and promised to have all Trade skills at V in 10 days (when auction would end).

That is not possible - so OP was lying there.

This board should be renamed "scammer discussions".

Seriously. Who would lend out anything to a stranger in EVE without the slightest security?

Mathematically speaking, you just cannot get enough interest ever to make up for the loss to scammers. There is no way to turn loaning +EV like this.

It has come to our knowledge that Gottfried Jorgund cannot be trusted.

Therefore we must regretfully withdraw our offer to invest in this bond.
