Out?
Have you ceased all communication and absented yourself from this discussion?

How did you get the idea that anyone hunts bounties?
The discussion of ships is irrelevant until your flawed premise is addressed.

a lot of people "hunt" for people with bounties on there head and it was a simple question, no need to bust a testicle over this kid cuz he wasnt as speciffic as you needed it to be.

HIC, I'd imagine? Since you'd have to pod... Not that anyone I know of actually bother.

ok, a bit more serious reply.

I'm not sure what you mean by bounty hunting. You might be refering to ratting for all i know.

But if you want to assassinate specific players in eve, the timing is much more important then the ship.
So its a whole different game then flying the right ship.

If you're talking about ratting i guess the ship, you can fly. with the most dps is the best.

In your multiple posts you have neglected to say who you are hunting.....

In theory/on paper/sometimes, a stealthbomber.

In game (or 'real life' as some people mistake it for), depends on what your target is flying/where your target is.

Assuming you're referring to actual players that have bounties on them.

You make many assumptions and communicate ineffectively.

The problem lies with you.

Please answer my original inquiry as to how you got the idea that anyone actively hunts other players showing bounties.
Until the demonstrably flawed premise that bounty hunting is a profitable activity is addressed the discussion of ship hulls, tactics and other considerations is entirely moot.

For example, if you choose to hunt them only for "fun" then it may be wise to choose less expensive ships. Your targets will regard you as easy killboard filling but you will have "fun".

If you harbor the childish notion that you will hunt them for profit then consider spending some time searching for editorial content via the eve-search.com website describing the broken and ineffectual nature of bounties.

I am interested in Bounty Hunting too but I know without a HiC or your Target living in Null-sec the chances of you getting them are slim.. Cause you can't use a HiC outside of Null. Without getting the pod is pointless. Since the only REAL reason these bounties are so large is that yes.. From what I can tell the mechanic seems flawed. Locator agents can get you to the Target but then you got to kill them, his nuet repping lame friend and hope not to be Concorded.. All at once.. lol

However until (if ever) they get around to fixing it for us "Bounty Hunters" you'll get post like the quoted guy. More like bitter-vet, that might be sweating a brow or two realizing the open season we would have.. AND BOY! Would we make some isk..

No, they don't. Only the terminally stupid or very new "bounty hunt".

Which one are you?

Edit - and about the only way to reliably kill pods in low-sec is with smartbombs. Lots of smartbombs. Of course this will in turn wreck your sec status and make you eligible for having a bounty too. It has a certain elegant inevitability to it I feel, right down to the amusingly named "smartbomb" Lol

Bounty's will never work!!!

Alts collect real bounty's, everyone else put the bounty there themselves.

Probably start with something to find them. After you see what they are in, then you'll know what you'll need to bring to kill them.

Covert ops can work for safe checks.

Being as your post reads as if you are planning on solo assassination style hunting - you'll probably have to time your hits carefully so as to catch them not in a gang and able to kill them quickly. This isn't going to be easy if they tend to fly anything with decent tank on it.

The other option to just "nail bounties" and not actually hunt targets - go to a trade hub with a sensor boosted interceptor and camp a gate. When someone comes in with a pod that is flashy - pop them. Odds are good there's a bounty on their head - small or large, there will probably be one.

Unless youre very selective about your targets in the sense of what they are flying and where, youll need an assortment of ships to counter their assortment. All ships have their nemesis' and youll have to find the individual ones and then, get the timing right to further ensure your tactics success. I guess one universial thing, is that youll need a fast locking speed to pod and probably a prober to locate. But as stated above, bounty hunting wouldnt be for profit, but for fun, which in that case youll have to decide what you think is fun really.
