Been having a major problem with this too, jumping from system to system... especially in cap ships causing the client to crash.

Any chance cee cee pee can take a look at this....

I was going to buy a ticket to fanfest but i fear anything affiliated with ccp will crash....

I'm surrounded by Trolls. All this negative feedback means we'll just be getting new forums released before DUST goes F2P....

Same problem as the rest of you, crash if I try to change from fullscreen which is annoying as I also crash if I alt-tab out to change TS channels.

Good sirs of this fine thread: I'm sad to say that the patch got delayed till tomorrow Oops It is however already live on Sisi so you can try it out there if you want to.
Sorry for one more day with that particular crash.

The game was fine for me, but after patch 1.1.1 i keep crashing every 2 min,
cleared the cach, repair tool only remove the patch and you have to re-install it with the same result,
now nuked everything about eve on my PC and trying a fresh install.

I just lost 2 Tornados in the exact same way on the exact same gate. Jumping into some systems seems fine. I jumped from 6-U in Syndicate into IOAB. My client crashes immediately after jump. -200 mil. Both losses petitoned. Won't be engaging anything until this is fixed.

Tried re-installing the client and it crashed on the DirectX \ silent part

I can also confirm reinstalling does not solve the problem, let's hope this patch works.

Small update, reinstalling worked for me, i nuked everything related to eve on my computer
( even those pesky cache files ) and did a fresh install, lost all my preferences and overview
settings and whatnot but simpler than trying to figure it out, but i think the issue i had is
different from the crash on gate one i was crashing all over the place every couple minutes.

Is there still a fix for this in the works? I crashed 6 times during a fleet yesterday, every time right before or after jumping through a gate or docking. This has been happening for a while now and I cannot find any solution.

-tried a clean uninstall/re-install of eve, didn't help
-running client at lowest settings possible, doesn't help
-installed latest video drivers, didn't help

PC:

Win7 64-bit
i7 CPU
Nvidia GT 330M, driver 296.10
8G RAM

Try playing with LogServer active, then if it crashes again, file a bug report, put my name (CCP Snorlax) in the title, attach the .lbw file and the crash dump.

While the crash dumps are automatically uploaded and I look at those every day, getting logs as well as a description from you of what you were doing at the time can make all the difference in whether I can reproduce and fix the issue.

That said, there is a patch going out tomorrow that has several crash fixes - can't say for sure whether the crashes you've been experiencing will be fixed, but one can hope.

Unfortunately, it is a hard windows crash and instant shutdown. I have no chance to save the log. I will try to see if I can save a log just before a crash, as my cpu fan seems to go to max speed just before it happens.
