This is a call for CCP to buff Tech2 Battleships.

Lets look at some things I've noticed

Frigs T1 Vs T2: Fly T2 if you can, except for fun suicide roams

Destroyers: Fly T2 solo or fleet

Cruisers: Fly T2 Good for solo or fleet

Battlecruisers: Fly T2 if you can for small gang and solo work, great ships for fleets in both T1 or T2 variants

Battleships: Fly T1 because you are better off salvaging in a noctis over the marauder, and few people ever engage with Blops on purpose.

Battleships are the only subcap that so not fit into fleet doctrine in both T1 and T2 varients. These ships have monster prerequisites for very little benifit, and cost effectiveness. Lets get this looked at CCP!!

they were dead even at time of their creation. maybe good for strictly solo single account players, which are not abundant in eve.

weak to ecm? really? with caldari and gurista rats?

and the damage that is less with 2 lvl5 high rank skills than vindicator's damage with two lvl1 skills?

they are probably most useless ships in eve, or very close to that.

Not even close. They are probably the most focused ships in EVE, which means they are very useful if you're in the market for the abilities they offer.

Even blops are useful — it's just that their use case isn't all that common on the scale of things.

EAFs are useless because they don't offer anything special and because what they do offer is already done far better by other ships. Even though the situations where they might prove handy are very common, they are rendered useless by the existence of other, more capable, ships.

Er no.

Frigs fly pirate > navy > T2 mostly

Destroyers, T1 are very popular in FW

Cruisers, Have you heard of a cynabal? SFI and ONI are pure win. Pirate = Navy > T2

BCs, T1 are fairly equal to T2 especially in the case of the drake, only exception might be abso gangs

Battleships, Pirate (Bhaal / vindi) > navy > other pirate > T1 > T2

Yes T2 BS are a bit lackluster, but as are many other T2 ships, I don't really see a way of buffing them without obsoleting some of the faction hulls

I agree that they're overpriced fragile ships, but they're easy and quick to get into and, in small gangs, can make a difference. If CCP just puts a bit more love in them, they could become more interesting & used on TQ.

Cruisers, Have you heard of logi recons t3...where is your brain...I've seen a falcon shut down 3 cynabals

BC's Eh I'll give you that one

BS's thats what I'm talking about, make t2 worth at least more than there t1 nonfaction

You are hurting the feelings of this one EAF i can use, which has a target painting bonus.
Sadly, i forgot the name of it, because i actually never use it. *lol*

Not only T2 BS need some serious buff but T1 as well. .. like +25% shields/armor(it depends what type of tanking the ship is build for) because it`s ridiculous how small difference it is between BC and BS and it became even worse since T3 BC as u no longer need a BS to fit "the big guns"
Kind a sad :(

Ridiculously small difference such as the BS having nearly an order of magnitude bigger tanks and vadtly more versatility. Roll

I love my blops - I fly them daily and would not change them for anything else - but thing is, you cannot fly a blops as if it was just another battleship.

As Tippia said - they are very focussed ships. If you happen to need a blops for what they do best - then blops are absolutely outstanding ships. No question about it.

It just happens that not very many people do.
