TL;DR: I need a 100m to help me back on my feets after I had a little accident. I will pay back 110m within 7 days.


BONUS: If I get it within 8 1/2 hours, I'll make that 15% (115m).


DETAILS: I was doing the first room in Angel Extravaganza when a drake warped in and started to shoot at the trigger battleships. I decided I would try to finish of the battleship I was killing before I warped of when I got scrambled... The drake got some nice loot and I have one abaddon less. I have learnt my lesson and will be much more carefull in the future. Sadly, I am low on money right now so here I am.

Id like to see a killmail about it aswell as I can not see anything in your history except a pod kill almost 6 months ago. Not saying it didnt happen, just reassurance

I did not get killed by the drake. I just couldent handle the 2 and a half spawns at me at once while scrambled and panicing.

if you were killed (even in a mission or by a belt rat) it will show in the character sheet under combat log.

I admit I may be being a bit silly but your 2 times my EVE age, it sounds a bit unusual thats all. What with the dont fly what you cant afford to lose thing and insurance payouts.

Edit: cant count 6 - 3 = 2 so twice my age....

I insured it once and forgot it after that (silly me). I'll get the killmail when I get home from work (4 and a half hour unless an emergency happends). And I have been trying to trade lately (failed badly (tips are appreciated)) so I am low on iskes.

I feel pretty stupid right now that I dident warp out at once but I did not understand what happend until it was too late.

well if this is a scam its a damn good one, that sounds like a situation I have been in before, Lost a 2 day old myrmi in my second LVL 3 security mission cause it hit a trigger and got swamped though I was warp scrambled and got blown up, (i was webbed :-|...)

Ill transfer iskies in a few minutes.

nah its OK to be honest they are easily faked where as the tone someone writes in is usually better

I'll admit Ive lost a couple of ravens being an idiot, and a couple of friends I used to mission with have had the same thing happen too. Ugh

The best was during The Assault lvl 4 against serpentis (I think) during AT IX. I was watching the live stream on eve-tv, alt tabbing between that and my mission. I apparently hit a trigger and got swamped, but didnt realize I was dead until I came back to a pod after watching the whole match and forgetting about the mission. Ugh

File a petition. It is against the EULA to recycle your characters to avoid a bad reputation. Sure, you won't get your ISK back - but at least you exact some retribution.

And in the event that he was banned from EVE for buying ISK one too many times, you might be able to get your ISK back, possibly?

I dont expect the ISK back (kinda expected this TBH) but as you said, maybe it will be a little payback.

i thought the recycling portion was only refering to negative sec standings as opposed to meta reputation, how the heck can you quantify negative meta reputation? that seems pretty unreasonable

On the contrary, the recycling portion has nothing to do with negative sec standings - it has to do with avoiding consequences of your decisions in this game. It is perfectly legitimate to biomass your -10.0 pirate character. What is NOT allowed is to suicide gank industrials/freighters until you hit -5.0 then biomassing and creating a new character so that you can keep doing so without repairing your sec status and then repeating the process over and over again.

Likewise, you are not allowed to scam, biomass, create a fresh character, scam, biomass, create a fresh character, scam, etc etc...

I guess now that I think about it, what I said wasn't exactly true - you CAN biomass a character to avoid a bad reputation. However, you can't abuse the process by simply biomassing your characters as soon as they get a bad reputation over and over again. If you want to scam people, you have to stick with your character's bad reputation.
