Is this possible now with the Hybrid buff? Was thinking a blaster tengu would be quite the WTF moment in battle.

Unfortunately, EFT warring some fits and can get barely 400DPS out of it with neutrons. Must be doing something wrong.

So is the blaster tengu even worth trying or stick to HAM's?

99,422 EHP, 439 DPS with an optimal of 13km/fall off of 8.8. With Caldari AM ammo: 550 DPS At 4.5/6.3
With Void, you bring a 614 at 6.8/3.1

TEST Null M? Is that like Dev or GM ammunition or something like that? Where can I legally get some without getting banned?

Or a more important question: How did you import items into EFT?

It has a slight edge in EHP, a slight edge in sig radius, and equal DPS, without the ability to fit 2 neuts in spare highs. Plus, it is AB fit. Sounds like an 800M Ferox to me. One which will DIAF.

If you really want to do this, just get a Moa/Ferox/Eagle.

In fact, if you invest tengu level isk into an eagle and take your gang link alts and crystal set with you, it might just kill something, and which would you primary, eagle or tengu?

And, Ferox is an amazing ship, 800m worth of ferox would be a nice blob indeed.

Just for the sake of argument too, if you are going to make an in your face blaster ship, you do realize that a blaster fit vexor with mixed drones will put out over 700dps, with a t2 fit. Failing that, a catalyst can push over 500 these days.

There is one good reason for this sub though, so you have turret hardpoints to go mining.

P.S. Naga is a better sniper too

P.P.S. Put lasers on it for the lulz and I will love it though (That is how I fit my ferox).

Yes, but only because of the Tengus T3 resists. Lol (but then, the Ferox could fit ACs or lazors to deal with that).

The magnetic infusion basin subsystem is a really lame joke. It should be something like the Proteus' dissonic encoding platform (minus the tracking and falloff bonuses, plus optimal range bonus), but it's not.

That said, I'll try railgun and blaster fittings on my Tengu in PvE, since I'm bored to death by missiles.

The Tengu is a perfectly fine ship and then you are going ahead and fit hybrids on it? WTF? What next, are you going to armor-tank it? What did it ever do to you that you hate your Tengu so much?

any self respecting PVPer should have crap missile skills and as such, if he wanted to use a tengu for pvp, they would put blasters on it.

They might laugh so hard they'd be unable to operate their ship.

Even the best blaster Tengu seems to have about the same DPS as a HAM Tengu, but with a lot less range.
