Eject trashed items out from station

So where does it end up or who gets all the trashed items?

Why not let it eject in a can (blue?) from station at either a fixed or a random direction.

Free for anyone to pick up.

Short lifespan.

Must be in station or possible to eject remotly (skills?)

I'd hate to see the Jita undock after this update.

I hate to see it as it is.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

As the above posters mentioned, there would be major issues with this in trade hubs.

Not just in trade hubs; the new-player areas would be swamped with trashed starter ships (as far as I know, they can't be sold and very few people use them after they skill up to something better).

Stations could collect trash for, say, 15 min - then, everything trashed in that timespan is ejected. That should reduce lag, and also provide some lols for the pilots that would wait to collect it.
