New deadspace invuls and your opinion on cost

Just a thread about current prices on invuls, and what you think they will drop to.

As these new invuls drop in fairly low level plexes, my opinion was they would drop to a similar price as deadspace items of similar meta levels, for example, a Pithum A-type med shield booster drops in the same plex as the A-type invul (6/10), and at the same frequency from what I understand, so can we expect the same price tag? Or are these new items too good for that price range, and is the demand going to be too high (shield supers included) to drop them to a reasonable level. I understand it hasn't been long since their release, but the WTB orders on contracts are already growing past 3 bil

It is also clear that officer invuls have dropped massively as expected, but what about faction ones? Can we expect them to drop to the same price range as faction enams? And if so what changes should be made to the pricing of them on the caldari lp market?

So lets hear some opinions/rage

It's too early to make predictions on what the cost will even out to. Ignore the current WTB contracts, simply down to little or no supply yet.

Give it a few months for people to figure out the rough drop rates and a steady-ish supply to happen before trying to figure out their place in the world.

If the booster and the invuln are dropping in the same plex, I would expect the price of both of them to be higher than the booster is currently.

I hope there's a steady supply and availability of these mods so shield super caps can easily compete with their armor counterparts.

I've already picked up two of the Gistums in the Angel 4/10 and sold both quick & 'cheap' at 1.5bill per. I expect, at the current inflated prices, they'll still be bought for Moms etc. so I personally don't think the prices will drop until that demand dwindles. I couldbe wrong.

It does beggar the question though - should a 2-3bill mod be dropping in a plex that takes 5 minutes to run? I would have thought CCP are fixing this with the much-awaited Angel 6/10 DED plex which still doesn't exist..

Thousands of carebears need new invulnerability fields. It will take a few months or even years till invuln price drops to shieldbooster price level.

unless the drop rate is completely out of whack, CN invulns will always set the base floor for the c-type
as it stands CN invulns have dropped about 100m

Seen a 40% plus a couple digits for like 695 million. Still would not use it but better than 2.5 billion retardation

The new ones will push tag price down though so maybe all good.

Steady supply what? Throwing a dice everytime you do a complex. i hope they stay as scarce as can be, personally.

Would be nice if CCP buffed the t1 and t2 invus, all those faction/ded invus are way too expensive imo

Um yeah you realise the T2 Invuln is already a pretty damb powerful module right? You can overheat it (you can't do this with EANMs) and get a total of 144 percentiles of resists in a single module slot. You can literally double your shield EHP with a pair of these.

That does not seem to me like something that needs a buff in any way.

Yes about invuls being better than EANM's but EANM's can't be turned off due to neuting, DCU's give higher armor resists and you get a CPUless option for resist increases. Plus the whole implant set advantage...

So yeah
