I'm just getting started, and I'm stuck. I'm supposed to fly to the Academy and pickup my pilot certificate. I get to the academy and I don't see how to do so. The Online tutorial tells me it in an office at the Academy in a nearby building, but all I see in the Academy space station. I dock, but none of the offices are right, I don't see any other nearby buildings. The tutorial tells me I have to be within 2,500 meters to loot, but loot what.?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated!

That mission is problem for many new players because if you don't travel to right solarsystem the only "Academy" you see might be your starting station. (Some starting stations have word "Academy" in their name, some don't.)

The "Academy" which mission mentions is NOT a station.

First you need to travel to right solarsystem via stargate. Check the mission information for where you need to go, then warp to "Stargate (solarsystemname)" and activate it. After that right click in space, select Encounter, and warp there. You should see Academy nearby so go within 2500m of it to be able to open it and take certificate. (That Academy is basically just big fancy cargo container.)

ps. To repeat, if you can dock to Academy, then you are at wrong location. Right "Academy" meant by the mission is not a station and so you can't dock to it.
