I would like to hear the argument about ships like the Ewar Frigate and the Black opps needing buffs

The Black ops has the unique ability to Covert cyno Drop a fleet of Recons and and Covert ops onto a cyno jammed field making the 1 afk cloaker a fearful enemy.

The Ewar Frigates, have the same Ewar capabilities of their Covert T2 cousins. They are cheap and afforadible to field. Unlike their T2 cousins

would it mean that this unique class of ship will be unexpected in a battle and there for unplanned?

Someday I will have the time to play. For now it is mining afk in High sec. In Cheap ships

Yes, niche ships are fine. CCP shouldn't listen to all the people whining about black ops battleships, though it would be nice if they had a slightly larger fuel bay to allow portalling of a few cruisers without constantly reloading :)

black ops are pretty much fine to my knowledge.

the problem with the ewar frigs is that they're made of paper. They explode shortly after a single flight of light drones is dropped on them. They usually get reduced EW bonuses compared to recons as well.

if these EW frigs were more able to survive more than a few moments, they might see more use. In the case of the Kitsune, you get performance comparable to a blackbird, which actually costs less (albeit without frigate-level align time)
