working multiple trade hubs?

As a newbie trader looking to refine my methods, I've been trying to think of ways to turn a profit without playing the .01 ISK game all day long. To that end I've been looking into more patient trading strategies, researching items with pretty flat, stable Market Data graphs that would sell without constant babysitting.

Between my two alts (both of whom are decent-ish traders) I have gobs of spare jump clones - courtesy of Estel Arador Corp Services - and it occurred to me that this could allow me to work out of several different hubs. If I'm using a trading model that doesn't demand that I constantly be online to update orders, it seems like working multiple hubs could be beneficial; I'm thinking it could reduce the impact of competition, help protect me from unforeseen market trends and could help me spot hauling/contracting opportunities. Anyway, having access to multiple markets isn't ever really a bad thing, right?

My question is, what are other (see: smarter/more experienced) traders' thoughts on this? Is working out of multiple hubs viable, using the 'patient trader' method I've described...or are there other factors I haven't thought of that would keep it from being worthwhile?

Thanks in advance, any input appreciated.

you want to make profit , without constant attention and updates right? But using 2 alts instead .

Well my opinion its bad , having 2 alts , which take care of different stuff in 2 different places seems rather (not so easy or relaxing)
I find it more easy to actually have 1 trader and take of him , and baby sitting as much as you can be arsed to do .

Then alts in different hubs is always good to keep and eye on the prices quantity demand and supply , but just for checking . Thats my noob opinion baby sitting 1 trader and do it right ( not necesarry with 0.01 wars) but just keep him busy is easier then having 2 players in 2 hubs with different prices on same items (or different) ....

Opportunities multiply as they are seized.

It would make it easier to exploit price differences between hubs. I'm tempted to get multiple traders and a dedicated hauler.

Before getting your own freighter, at least try one of the freight services available. e.g. Push Industries or Red Frog Freight.

At least for me they have been enough and I havn't needed to train hauler alt.

At some point, if not now, you're going to need to be able to fly a hauler. It's incredibly useful.
