meh your trolls will not succeed here...your arguments are not valid, goons know full well that ppl are lazy...ppl wont make alt accounts to sign up....you are saying one thing but you know full well that isnt what will happen...as an aside...if you can use alt to make the account then why is having any sort of api check worth the effort?

Already answered. Try reading. Also, try understanding what information is being asked for.

Anyone who has followed this thread at all can clearly see how you are talking in circles and just keep telling me I am wrong. Me being wrong is irrelevant. What is relevant is that goons do not need this information at all. In fact they state that they don't need it because making a dummy alt to sign up for coms is valid as well. If the information is not that important then why do they ask for it? Answer is obvious, find someone unsuspecting and abuse it.

Let us say I am wrong....why do goons need to have complete list of assets of everyone in CFC?

tbh more you guys go on the more I tend to think the RMTers are getting desperate

We're not forcing anyone to enter all of their account APIs, they can use whatever account they please as long as there is a character in a blue alliance.

Then why ask for it in the first place? If it is that easy to hide the information then it is pointless to ask for it in the first place.

Hi, nobody is going to hack your account using the API information. Of course you're not going to believe that because you have a year's supply of tinfoil and are paranoid as.
Nobody cares about you. You're a stupid little pawn in this internet spaceship game. You'll get moved around by the big name players and you'll either get captured or you will capture other pieces. If you don't want to give people you don't trust your API key, that's fine. There's enough people who will. Don't feel bad, just think of it like the job market. Don't want to flip burgers at McD? That's fine, there's thousands of people who will. We don't need you. We have lots of people who beg to be allowed to join the CFC. And they either fork over their keys, or they go home.
The same choice is being offered to you. Want to play with the big kids? You can either join on our terms, or you can watch from the sidelines.
There just isn't enough you can offer that you can dictate your terms. We're the guys with the connections and the big guns. (Well technically PL and RDN are the guys with the big guns but work with me here.) We're the guys with the big fights. You're replaceable. Want fleet fights? You can have them - on our terms, not yours. You're not offering anything that other people can't. So our choice is easy. We'll do what we've been doing, and you can complain about as much as you want, but nothing is going to come of it.
So whether you believe the API we require is overly broad or not is totally irrelevant to this debate. It's our way, or the highway.

Hello everyone,

It is the choice of the player if he/she wants to give out the full api key of their account. Should a player think someone is miss using his api key he can create a new one a make the old one unusable.

If you have evidence that someone got hacked, all you have to do is to send your informations to the GM Team via a petition and they will deal with the situation.

Thread locked.

I suspect they're more interested in my mail box history than all of the isk and shiteous modules I have in my hanger.
