Can any experienced players post their UI setups?

I'm just curious if there is a big disparity between players UI interfaces, vs just having windows open and closed all the time, I find that I have windows constantly stacking on top of each other. I'd like to see if there are more efficient ways to display information.

Thanks!

well, it depends.

If I'm doing something "important" or dangerous (e.g. gate camp, running through low, etc), then it's local, and an intel channel (corp/alliance/other channels minimised to let me see more of local ... but the new slim look means less of that).

If I'm not really doing anything (e.g. flying to Jita, ship spinning), then I've got loads of windows open -- S&I, Market, mail, browser, mail, etc.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Not sure if I qualify as "experienced player", but having local separate and stretched to nearly the top of the screen will allow you to see at one glance if a wartarget or other potential threat (in Low-sec) is around.

Will not work in Jita, of course Smile

And in Wormholes....

Personally I have two sets of chat windows on the left with local stretched out below them (there's enough room for 15-20 names with the large icons and many more with the new one-line names) and then the right side has my overview (stretched out so I can see more detailed info on speed and tracking) with fleet/drones in two columns below that and the Cargo window below that. Anything else I need open I just open and close/minimize when I don't need it.

Having a 1920x1080 screen certainly helps, it lets me have double columns of stuff up and down the sides of the screen and still have a playable area in the middle.
