Best dedicated ship for AE and WC lvl 4?

What would anyone suggest as the best ship that can be bought and fitted for around 200/300 mil for Angels Extrav and Worlds Collide? I use a Pally for most missions but it's a bit slow for these, so I'm thinking of grabbing something that I can jump into to blast through them when they come up.

I'm guessing a Raven is a good bet, but with the hybrid changes would a Gallente boat work better? I'm cross trained in all races to use everything but T2 turrets and missiles, though these can be trained as needed. Being mostly trained for Amarr ships my armour and gunnery support skills do have a slight edge for now at least, but there's not much in it.

I use a Sleipnir for Angel Missions, i would use a matar battleship perhaps but I am not traine dup that far.

HAM Legion may be good, not flown it but it would have the right damage type and resists.

your preferred price tag is a bit of a problem. is this with fitting?

if yes, then command ships are your only option. problem is, that as said above, only the sleipnir (at least for my preference) is viable. you might want to try a blaster astarte with mwd too.

if you reconsider, than the answers are simple. either a mach/varg or kronos.

personally id go with the kronos all around because it can do angels ok and is really good for all the long range missions with guristas and serpentis.

To be honest it is hard to see any ship beating the mach, especially with the gate travel time being a factor.

The AE4 is pretty easy, well known and predictable triggers. The only trouble I get is the bonus room, but even than I still finish the bonus room too.

WC4, I feel, gives me more trouble. Usually in the second room of each branch. I do rat specific resists so I usually do one branch, then refit resists and ammo, and do second branch.

I fly navy scorps and navy ravens, t2 and t1 fitted, not pimped out with faction gear. Even then they are probably out of your price range. Just passing information on how I do it. I am training gunnery skills for Mael and later Mach.

t2 fit maelstrom with cap booster setup will crush these and any other high-damage missions, without issue.

It is, quite literally, the best tech1 bs and well under your budget.
