How bad are the negative faction standings from the opposing faction for running COSMOS?

As topic title says, how bad are the negative faction standings from the opposing faction for running COSMOS missions? I'd like to try them but not if it will ruin my faction standings for the other faction.

Basically, this is just a simplified explanation. The average amount of negative standing hit is less than half of the positive standing gain. If you bounce between the opposing Factions, you'll end up basically doing 1 step forward and 1/2 step back. Overall this will slowly raise both Faction standings.

Check out the 'Plan' for more info about repairing negative standings while boosting positive standings.

Thanks, I guess I'll have to run COSMOS for the faction I have the worst standings with then :)

As in the 'plan' do the SOE Epic Arc first and choose at the end your faction. This will boost that faction witth no negative on the opposite factions - that will give you a nice boost at startup.
