Do you have any specific suggestions for iterating Low Security space? I want to hear them!

+1 for GCC being reduced. 15 minutes is a silly amount of time to wait around, especially if you're flying a frigate-sized hull. Numerous times I've popped some idiot miner in brosec only for the call to go out over Vent that there's a such and such five jumps away but because I'm in a frig I can't really get there and do much because of GCC.

I'd also like to see changes to sentry gun mechanics and for them to "not hit like the hand of god" on smaller vessels though how you could go about it without being overpowered I have no idea.

I also want to say NO to bubbles in lowsec. If I wanted bubbles I'd go to Null. Please leave the distinctions between low and null kthx.

And +1 to revamped Bounty system. It's stupidly flawed right now and I second the link that other dude posted from the old CSM thingy.

Thanks for that post, Cable Udan. It's obvious that the People want a lower GCC, revamped bounty system and for something to be done about gate guns.

Great to see the pirats having some say in this thread. Nobody knows better what lowsec needs than the hunters in Corps like Tuskers, Heretic and Space Police. Lyris will probably be elected if he actually runs for CSM, but whether or not he'll help affect good change for Lowsec mechanics is yet to be seen. Between Lyris and Kelduum Revaan, Lowsec may actually get some new voices to speak up.

As for what Lowsec "needs".

- Lowered GCC
- Scaling damage from Sentries/Gates vs. Small ships (Frigs)
- Do something, ANYTHING with Faction Warfare
- Other stuff that smarter people have suggested (See above)

PS - Rifters are highly over-rated. P

Of course. In any case, they can agress and stuff so even if you could put one, the gate guns would shoot it and you once someone blundered into it.

Agreed. This is probably one of the most concise, nontroll summations of what lowsec needs. The one thing I would like to add is that if there is an interest in increasing low sec traffic, more "carebear stuff" needs to be oriented around low sec with rewards actually matching the risk, not like low sec ore: what a joke, even though some people still try and mine it Shocked
