I'm just sayin', there's a "Like and get likes" thread, or something similar, in several of the subforums here; and, much to the surprise of all involved I'm sure, none of the participants have as many likes as I do or as a few other people who are active and contributing posters. Not only is it a waste of server space for such threads to exist, since they add no content to the discussions ongoing about this game, but they are also woefully inefficient at farming likes. The long and short of it, kids, is if you want to have a lot of likes then you have to make a lot of posts and hopefully some of them will be good.

So, after we whored up our likes to insane levels to demonstrate the meaninglessness of the spacebook system you want likes to become meaningful again?
This would require to reset all the likes to zero beforehand.
And it would require VERY strict moderation, or else it would be just another law that is meaningless because it isn't enforceable.
I don't want stricter moderation, I want blooms of anarchy and madness poising through these pages....

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Is this really an issue? We have one near dead circle jerking like thread going and I haven't seen any like begging during my browsing. Not that it would be any worse than the blatant trolling and flaming already ongoing here. Why would CCP implement a special rule against something when it's not an issue? They can also already close any possible new circle jerking threads using the "Keep it in a single thread" -reasoning and remove like begging posts from other threads for many different legitimate reasons like offtopic post/spam/begging not allowed.

To the topic though: Anyone that feels better by having their "likes" number go higher and higher to the extent that they need to create threads to ask for them is already a pathetic unreasonable person so we might as well just let them make their threads. You shouldn't pick on tards.

Always wondered where you Goonies (at least the ones you've authorized to post on the forums) do your like farming. Never enough to look into it but still wondered nonetheless. Ah well, just realized I still don't care enough to find out. I'll see myself out.
