Will live stream coverage be available, like last fanfest?

PS. I want to shout 'F***YEAH !!!!' at the same time as all attendees and wake up my neighbours like last time :)

5000 isk is about $40 right? Can we get estimated exchange rates for euros and dollars for those of us who don't exactly trust random sites on the internets to tell us what the exchange rate is.

(why do you think CCP staff would have better information on exchange rates than actual experts?)

lot of cool events, one question though, will fan fest be once again live cast so those of us too poor to make it to iceland can atleast enjoy some panels and the keynotes??? Please?

Absolutely! CCP Loxy is working on this and I will see if we can get more info out concerning this in the next few weeks Smile

Excellent! Would it maybe be possible this year to have an archive available where subscribers to the HD stream can access stuff they may have missed due to being unable to watch some of the live stream? That way those who have other obligations during portions of the live event don't miss out on any of the awesomeness.

-FA- is now officially an offshoot of "Band of Devs". Zagam got mentioned in a Dev Blog. Gawd, we'll never hear the end of it on our alliance forums...

Fix POSes.  Every player should want one (even if all players can't have one).

At hacker conferences there's a thing called lightening talks and its basically an organized stage that allows the attendees 5minutes to rant or talk about anything related to the topic. Could be interesting to see what people talk about.

2011 premiered the "Open Mic" session, which seems what you are describing. two hours of pure comedy gold there. I hope this session gets recorded this year - unlike last time.
I'm looking forward to it Lol

I have a question about this poker stuff. I got my tickets almost as fast as they were available. including the pokertournament.

Participating in this tournament is already 32 euros. But i read about having to buy-in the chips for another 5000isk and another after the first break. I like to know what i initially paid for. In my opinion its kinda buying half a ticket but having to pay double to actually join. If thats the case ill petition my ticket

If you have already bought a ticket then you are covered for entry. A rebuy is available should you choose to take it. If you don't feel the need to do so, then you are completely covered Smile

Sorry you feel that way, Apollo. The events we run are player driven for charity and CCP makes not one single penny, cent or whatever other currency you care to choose. The money raised at these events goes a long way to easing the suffering of children and Fanfest attendees, year in and year out, love the opportunity to participate.

I'm glad that got cleared. I did expect it though, But reading about prices above a $1000 for a tour of your workspot kinda threw me on the sceptical side.

Poker tournament. Is that classic poker, or texas hold'em? I would gladly pay to participate to the former, but I hate the latter. I think you should clarify.

EDIT: nm, found the info on the fanfest page. Guess ill be going drinking beer somewhere, instead. Big smile

Hi Liu.

We did record it and I am glad to announce it is live for your viewing pleasure now. We do plan on another Open Mic awesomeness at Fanfest :)

Can't promise it will be streamed live, it might, but we will record it and put it up on Youtube.
