How will bit coining elect the next president, and subsequently impact the economy in the next 10 years? Also the environment from said economic impact.... And then global and international affairs of the global south in relation to the north?

So, whats the real point about bitcoin? Why use it over fiat currency? Why continue to rely on currency at all?

Bitcoin = scam.
Ask anyone who has any "Flooz cash" or any of the similar "digital currencies" that had been around.

Mining bitcoins uses up far more money in electricity than you'll ever get out of it, unless the electricity is free, stolen, etc.

bitcoins are a hash numbers each time you manage to get a hash that start with X amount 0 (at this point in time) you get a reward

As a follow up, why do we need a replacement for gold in the first place?


My third question was regarding the need for a currency at all.

While bit coin is a fun exercise in algorithms, it ultimately contributes nothing of real value to society.

vault maintenance is expensive
real transfer are hard to do and most gold trade is made by paper gold and some ppl can sell more paper gold that real gold they got on a vault, a accusation like this is made against JP Morgan and their short selling on silver market
