New miner looking for a corp

I have always perfered the craft aspects in games and have chosen to mine, manufacture(in the future)

I'm newish and about to get my retriever.

I've never joined a corp, so not sure what to do.

Well, i'd look for a local high sec corp for the time being. I've used the retriever in the past as a mining ship. They don't generally search for members per say, i'd join the 'recruitment' channel, you'll find one quickly.
