The new mining ship is a tech3 mining ship.
Its called the Behemoth. Here is the build.

cargo capacity 100'000.00
high slots 4
medium slots 4
low slots 4

Role Bonus
able to mine gas,ice,asteroids
250% to scanner range
100% to tractor beam range
50% to tractor beam velocity
15% to bonus mining
drone bay 100m3
drone band with 75Mbit/sec

Along with a new gang link module:
increased ranged
tech 1 (15 meters)
tech 2 (30 meters)"

Do this.

Just as long as it cannot enter security status .5 or above

Especially since it doesn't look like it can fit strip miners or Ice harvesters. Roll

Haahaa. No.

Meh I havent sat down to do the field testing yet. Problems are abound to pop up.

Read about PvP before the Warp Core Stab nerf. How many low slots you got? Well that's how many points they need.

Not enough to save the ship from an alpha.

Its a civillian ship.

And in Low/Null where nobody (outside big fleets) keeps enough alpha to do a suicide gank. Or Hisec in a wardec?

Being immune to targeted points is an absurd power. It means you're effectively immune to bubbles as well, since you can mwd right out and nobody can stop you.

And AFK cloakers are just as bad your point? and who in the hell sets up a bubble with no sebo support, it should be the first thing they're are expecting 1 somone jumps realizes bubble then does the mwd cloak trick, 2 warps aligned to something and hope the lag will save them or 3 mwd's out anyways and hopes for the best.

Also I could just remove the web part as well since, well there isnt just bonus in the game yet either and it was once again dropped for the assault frigates due to some wonky technical errors with the phsyics engine, and being a ship that reliant on this mass for her current agiliy and accelration slamming on a mwd would probably not work too well in the first few seconds.

I also could state that shielding the warp core prevents the microwarp drive from working as well leaving only afterburners as a speed option to escape a bubble camp.

And you're saying you cannot gank a hulk like ship in a small gate camp that fast? Makes me wonder if somone where to show up in a slightly smaller size murder force would screw over the camp.

Finally it is a sisters of eve ship dont expect a battleship out of this thing at all. pea shooter only be enough to discourage a frigate from harassing its not supposed to be getting tangeled up in fights in the first place.

If you don't get why being immune to points is ridiculously OP, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Consider the lowsec Gatecamp. You do the MWD/Cloak trick (or an AB/Cloak trick), and you'd need some really good bumps to kill you.

And removing the web immunity makes it worse. "Pointed"... "Webbed".... "wtf, he warped off" Oh, it's that ridiculous ship.

Think of what it took to kill a Super or Titan in Lowsec before the advent of the HIC. You had to keep it neuted below 70% and bumped away from aligning to keep it from running. It was silly.

This thread is now about bacon made into desserts.

I hear there's a restaurant in England making bacon and egg ice cream. They make it taste eggy by tempering the custard too fast or something, then add bacon drippings to make it taste bacony.

That sounds delicious. Reminds me that I just cooked up my weekly batch of bacon earlier today.

I found that I eat more of the deliciousness if I don't have to cook it right when I want to eat it. And if you bake it at ~400F in the bottom of the pan (not on a rack like the crazy people on the box tell you to), it crisps up almost like cooking it in the pan. While there's nothing like soggy bacon straight from the pan, bakefried bacon is just as good as panfried bacon once you're in the reheating stage.

EDIT:
@ OP: No.

Get thee a NuWave oven...makes the best bacon EVER and you don't have bacon grease splashed over every surface in your kitchen.

Ahem, I was there and if you look WCS are still in the game and was never removed.

What CCP had a real issue with was not people being able to not die, they had an issue with people engaging in combat killing somebody THEN running away if things began to look bad for them.

and Two you didnt read my reply where I was willing to nerf the damn thing so I guess its falling of deaf ears.

any reason we can just add more subsystems to strategic cruisers? i was thinking a mining variant simmilar though more powerful than mining cruisers, maybe extra capacity bonuses...

oh wait... the Tech 3 ships we have now are already too powerful, maybe it angers the mitanni that there could POSSIBLY be a situation where miners CAN'T be ganked P .

oh well, a dedicated gas harvester would be nice, but i don't think we need any new mining ships otherwise, i mean we ALREADY have the hulk, for pure harvesting what else? i think any more than that is perhaps too much for any one person.

i got an idea :

Offensive Mining subsystems : 100 % to mining yield amount per lvl , 96 to 99 decrease in cpu demand for covert ops cloaking device and ability to mine while cloaked .

Defensive mining subsystems: Gives imunity to any form of NPC damage and +2 to warp core strenght per level

engineering mining subsystem : 5 % to capacitor capacity per level and enhanced Auto Pilot version (should allow your ship to mine
on its own and dock to station, unload cargo and return and mine all over again)

Navinagation subsystems: Ability to detect hostiles in local and warp away on first sight of trouble . Also 20% of ship agility per level.

electronic subsystems:decrease maximum naumber of people who can target you at same time . at lvl 0 unlimited number of people
can lock you, at lvl 5 only one guy can lock you (good thing against suicide ganks!)

You forgot, all subsystems make the ship immune to damage, and shoots a doomsday at any ship that uses e-warfare on it.

I agree. More ships are always better.

However, if its a T3 where are the subsystems?

While they're at it i want salvaging drones and i want 5 high slots on this ship. It should be able to cloak and still maintain lock on the rocks.

The Hulk is fine as is. The Orca is fine as is.

The Hulk is supposed to be the best general purpose miner. The Mack the best Ice Miner, and the Skiff the best Merx miner. The Orca is supposed to be a command ship with storage capabilities, the Rorq the same but better.

Besides more yield and more cargo, what does your idea bring to the table?

N.B. Increased perfect yield != Increased profits. This is due to the Drone Regions (for high end ores) and the proliferation of max specced miner toons in Hisec, and the ease and safety which mining is done in hisec (for low ends).

1) Why do you want better yield and cargo?

2) CCP has said for quite a long time that the Hulk is the highest yield mining ship in the game and always will be.
